Belmont South Playground reviews
16A great little park but there are a lot of better locations around the lake than on the highway. Good BBQs and views of the lake.
Bought some Thai Green Curry from a street vendor in the car park and went for a walk before eating by the lake.
Great views, and really nice by the lake.
Here again looking at Wonderful sunsets, purchased Soft Rock for the kids and they had a play on the kids equipment.
I love stopping here on the way from work because Lake Macquarie views from here are always spectacular.
Very pretty little park. Toilets difficult to access and find in a car, in the rain. Those horrid metal seats and unisex!
Play area for children, plenty of room for safe distancing. Fantastic place for photography at sunset and pelicans.
Excellent spot, not sheltered from southern winds but excellent in all others.
Has good undercover (gas, I think) B. B. Qs.plenty of parking, awesome lake views with a lot of bird life. Could also be a good place to wet a line. Plenty of boat activity to watch. Very picturesque at night in calm weather.
Nearby toilets (unisex) were clean and well lit at night.
Very nice place. Parking is easy and free. It has tables and BBQ facilities as well. Nice playground for kids. Public toilets are on the other side of the playground.
Good and lovely view, the bbq we're not in good situation, a little bit dirty and weak so it needs a lot of time to cook some chicken
Stopped on my lunch break for the scenic view.
Saw a tradie in his ute pull up to a couple in their 70's in full activewear regalia and buy what very much looked like drugs.
Best entertainment I've had on a lunch break this year.
The lake birds were cute too.
Needs a cover over the top or the children will get burnt in summer they never think of the safety of the children and how hot the equipment gets.
Good place to rest, enjoy scenic surroundings (sunset and dusk is the best time), lake side walk, camping and kids play area. A must stop on the way to new castle or sydney)
Good playground. Has a slide, monkey bars and a spinner. The playground is next to the lake. Shame the sand isn't as nice as Pelican. Lots of black swans and pelicans.
Beautiful serene place. Nice views. Windy most of the time. Been there a few times. But always had to cut short due to the breeze. Need to plan to go with a light jacket.
Very good toddler park, only drawback is no fence around the park and the play equipment is near the Pacific Highway.
Play equipment with a view! Always well maintained, toilets very close but the main highway is close too.overall kids love it and I get a great view.
