Bellingen Community Markets reviews
62Overrated market, it's gone downhill the last few yrs. Not worth the petrol! Harbourside markets at the marina in Coffs Harbour is the best market.
Markets were absolutely huge!
Live music, many many stalls of all different types.
Delicious coffee and food.
The Japanese Okonomiyaki was to die for, not something we would usually get, but it was absolutely delicious
The best community markets in the area by far. Always great music, food and such a wonderful variety of stalls. Not to be missed on the 3rd weekend of every month.
The Bellingen markets were colourful, cheery and had a number a great food choices. We chose the vegetarian beans at the little aqua caravan. Absolutely delicious!
We had a great day out at these markets. You can pretty much get anything hippie and hemp here. We had hemp hand wash, a hemp tshirt and a hemp dress. There were plenty of other hemp products available. There are lots of stalls and plenty of food to choose from. There are toilets too but they are a bit grubby but still useable. The gosleme is good and the lemonade very lemony. There are plenty of place to sit down and eat with lots of space in the shade if needed. A very happy atmosphere with love music. It was all in all a good day. Highly recommended.
Disappointing that it's not dog friendly.dogs don't spread Covid and I saw a number of people not wearing masks.
Big monthly market with huge variety.mostly locally made goods and veggies. Try the Dorrigo cheese with potatoes
Clothing is expensive, but great food and entertainment and some lovely other stores, great day! Had loads of fun
Not just a market place but a great place to be. These were the words of Neil a past market coordinator!
Witnessed today a certain markeeter who sells wooden hand crafted bowls. Verbally abusing a 12 year young budding musician busker and giving him the move on notice. The young fellow was visably upset, and the marketeer just laughed at him. Shame on you! Caz I hope you see this & take the appropriate action, this is called bullying.
Great stalls, lots of nice second hand clothing and homemade gifts/jewelery/crockery. Food options are also delicious.
A great day out can be had exploring the diverse variety of local arts and craft, clothing, jewellery and many more stalls. Plus yummy food options combined with live music in a beautiful setting what more could you want.
Great spot to pick up your fresh fruit & vegetables. A must stop is the Paradise Mushroom stall. Unbelievable tasty and well priced. Many homemade items, candles, scents and rare plants available. Cash & Card available at most stalls.
Fantastic atmosphere. Friendly, relaxed and fun. Great handmade products, local produce, live music and lots of food choices.
It's different from most other markets. There are a great selection of products some already on the market and new products being shown for the first time as a prelude to their introduction.
The biggest market I've ever been to. Stalls offer a great variety. Great atmosphere. You need a few hours to see it all.
Good selection of stalls, if only they would display if they take cash, card or both to save time selecting an item to find out they only take fithy dirty cash!
Social distancing is non-existent in some areas, no covid check in, I mean there was a few weeks ago not not this last time I visited.
They say it is no smoking but nobody seems to manage this, even the stall holders are smoking next to their stalls.
I only go if we have visitors from out of town, I use the bello shops for nearly everything I need.
Fantastic community markets with a nice vibe, just celebrated 40 years! Great place for live music, alternative items and activities plants, clothing secondhand and innovative everyday items. Recommended
This is a great little farmers market, wonderful fresh produce and great little stalls especially the stall where we bought a large quantity of jams and pickles and the stall owner was absolutely wonderful.
Markets were wonderful. But, didnt allow dogs on lead. Makes it hard for people travelling. Had to shop in relay. Would have stayed longer with dog. Saw many people walk away.
