32Prompt and friendly service. This is my first time in the rental market, so having someone as friendly and knowledgeable as Mia was a big bonus and took the stress out of finding a suitable place. Mia responded promptly to my enquiry and was able to quickly arrange an inspection. Negotiations and lease documents were arranged quickly with able support from the admin team at Belle.
PERSONAL AND ATTENTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had the pleasure of renting a property in Forest Lodge with Mia from Belle Property as my Client Services Manager. I was in this apartment for nearly three years and from my first meeting I felt more than just another name on a form but a valued customer.
There hasn't been anything that was too difficult for Mia and her team to help me with during my stay (even providing a key when I had locked myself out over the weekend)

It with great relief that I never have to deal with this company again and in particular Karen Chen.
The customer service is dismal.
They are never present in the office.
Emails go unanswered.
Phone calls are never returned.
Easy tasks that should be attended to within 7 days drag out over weeks and weeks.
Every piece of correspondence - emails, forms etc.contain basic errors of information, both in language, mathematics and factual data.
I have never had to deal with a company that is so inept at managing their core business.
They do not do their clients, or their renters justice. I would not hesitate to dissuade anyone from dealing with this company.
Thank you once again to Maria Magrin! This is the second time she has helped us with the selling of a house. She has been instrumental in guiding us through the entire process, which can often be quite confusing and demanding. But Maria makes it so easy. She goes above and beyound the call of duty. There was always an open line of communication and she answered all our questions thoroughly and managed everyone's expectations.

I have recently started renting a property from Belle Property Pyrmont and I've felt pretty frustrated so far.
I was the only person to show up to the viewing with Karen Chen. I asked her if there were any communal facilities in the building and she told me there were none. I asked if I could view the parking space and she told me I could not as she had no time. After the viewing finished and I was leaving, a couple turned up and asked to view the apartment - I was frustrated that she could make time to show these new people around but not show me everything.
I later found out that there was an onsite gym, a communal rooftop AND a swimming pool. I found this out from listings from OTHER agents who had properties in the same building. The Belle listing had no photos of any of these facilities, and no mention of the gym or rooftop, and I had explicitly been told there were no communal facilities.
My wife and I then made offers on this property and on another property about 1min walk away (where the agent did an *excellent* job selling the place to me/making we feel welcome), and we had both of these offers accepted. The second place was slightly cheaper and, in our opinion, slightly less nice. We came very close to going with the second place purely based on the enthusiasm of the agent and knowing they would be stress-free to deal with. I did 7 viewings in all and the Belle viewing was the only one where I came away feeling deflated rather than excited. All other agents showed the facilities and parking.
We decided to go with the property marketed by Belle and then received the lease. However, the tenancy info doc we were sent mentioned that a condition report should have been sent with the lease. We did not receive a condition report, so I asked Karen about it. She said that they would do the condition report as late as possible so that the condition of the property accurately reflected the condition upon move in. Although this made sense, the property had been sitting empty so the condition would not have changed much/at all over time, and this actually blocked us from being able to sign the lease until about 12 hours before we were due to collect the keys. This caused me a bit of stress as we didn't have the property guaranteed until the lease was signed. If the landlord had been aware of this, I presume they would also have questioned why the lease was not signed (as they would have risked losing us as tenants unnecessarily).
After moving in, I was then made to sign up to a service (Our Property) to pay rent. This service appears to be free for Belle Property, and they appear to make money by charging tenants extra to pay their rent, ranging from $2 to around $20/week.
So I asked about paying rent a different way as agents are 1) legally obligated to offer a fee-free way for tenants to pay rent that is also available to them and 2) prohibited from forcing tenants to use a specified person or business (Our Property) to carry out obligations (paying rent).
Karen mentioned that I could instead use Our Property to generate a barcode every week to pay in person at the post office. The post office in Pyrmont is only open when I'm at the office, so I'd need to pay to take public transport to a post office that opens on the weekend, and it's also mega inconvenient. Karen has said that "we don’t have other options all rent payments are through our property via direct debit, all our tenants who are working are on this payment method"
In short - we're in this property because we like the property, and not because of Belle. In fact, Belle have done more to put us off the property than to sell it to us
Maria Magrin and the Belle Property made the stressful process of selling our property a great experience. Excellent communication and advice. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire Maria again, and refer her to friends and family wanting to sell in the inner city/ inner west area. Thank you Maria.
I definitely will not be listing my property with Belle Prymont after their numerous displays of complete and utter unprofessionalism. So hard to contact and so difficult to deal with, i was spoken rudely on a number of occasions and they then became very hard to contact making it clear they did not want my business, frustrated and disappointed that listing has to be this difficult.do you research and beware

Caroline and Belle have been managing our property for the last few years and when our tenants moved out Caroline said "now" was a good time to sell. We trusted her judgement on the renovation/fixes that were required and on the marketing strategy. We sold in just over two weeks and Caroline did a great job working with the potential buyers to get the maximum price for us.

I found Belle Property Pyrmont to be extremely unprofessional, unreliable and untrustworthy. I do not recommend.
My application for a rental property was approved, with the leasing agent telling me I would be moving into the property in two days time.
I had been told that the owner of the property was going to replace the carpets, as there was a large hole in the lounge room carpet. This then changed to the carpets being cleaned, and the hole being patched, I was fine with this.
When I asked to include this within the lease, suddenly the carpet couldn't be sourced, and the carpet would not be getting fixed.
I then received a text, after a full rental application, being approved, and booking movers that I should keep looking somewhere else.
Avoid this place. Terrible.
Just finished our first interaction with Caroline and Noel. One of the most pleasant purchasing experiences over 30+ years of purchasing and selling properties in several countries. So responsive, helpful, and straight shooters. Highly recommend this team!
