Had Liam as a server tonight, absolutely brilliant and made the night enjoyable. Food was great, can't recommend more

Pizza is superb.crispy crusted edges with a thin base.authentic.like the crispy skin of pork belly too although it can be more juicy.

It's full so it took is 30 mins to wait for food. This place is popular I reckon and food is good.

Came for dinner mid-week. Very busy and loud atmosphere. Although staff were friendly and attentive. We had the garlic pizza which was yummy though a bit oily as well as the meatball pasta and ragu. Both pastas were pretty average and meatballs were dry. Dessert was the highlight though. Nutella donuts were so delicious but the sticky date pudding was overwhelmingly sweet. Price points were a bit steep for the quality but recommended dropping in for some donuts!

Nothing special, service was very average, food bland, basic, not bad but certainly not even close to great either. Boring venue and physical space. Priced a bit high for what it is.

Celebrated my mothers 60th birthday here. Ordered the arancini balls (arrived cold and found the rice to be hard but had a nice flavour), croquettes, cocktails, pizzas and pasta. They were kind to shout a tiramisu on house as a cake for my mother and brought it out with a candle. Also had the saffron pannacotta which is one of my fav desserts ever. Found it to be insanely hot inside, and we were sweating non stop and wish the heater could be turned off or reduced. Overall, a nice italian restaurant, good food and good atmosphere.

We went to Bella Italia for a 100th birthday-what a amazing event to celebrate. From the first time we touched base through with the to the event Andrea, Nico and the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our event had everything we required from flexibility with the menu to allowing us to personalise the space, no request was too big and every question was always answered happily and quickly.
On the day the food was outstanding and plentiful (You must try the Gnocchi), the service was friendly, attentive and nothing short of excellence.
We can't thank the team at Bella Italia enough for making the 100th birthday celebration such a fantastic day.
We highly recommend Bella Italia for lunch or dinner be it for your family or a bigger group.

Did a pizza making class at Bella Italia after having eaten their amazing food a number of times. Incredible experience and great value for money. We are looking forward to doing another cooking class in the future

Oh my gosh, I just got home delivery from Bella Italia for the first time. The lasagna was probably the best I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be ordering from here again! Fast friendly service too. Don't order Italian from anywhere else

Arrived without a booking, and even though it was quite busy, a table was made available. Ordered an entree, main and a dessert. All came out in a very timely manner, and all were excellent. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area

Went in this restaurant with my partner, called around 6pm and still got a table. They were super busy yet we still got our water supply going and the food was out of this world! I am a vegan and my partner isn’t and we both enjoyed an amazing meal together. The vegan mushroom and truffle oil pizza is to die for! The staff were super nice even though there was only 2 staff on and the restaurant was pretty much full, we got everything we needed and they were super nice. One of the best restaurants in my books.

My partner and I where in newcastle. H was craving for Italian food, so I did what I do best. I found this amazing Italian restaurant. I
We had as starter a classic, bruschetta al pomodoro, so simple but so tasty, gnocchi funghi e salsiccia and rigatoni alla norma, so yummy!
And of course, I had to finish the Italian dinner without few rounds of digestive, homemade limoncello and herb liqueur!

Everything about this restaurant is positive: the greeting, the staff, the wine list and the food- all of equal importance. Traditional and authentic.

I have fairly regular takeaway here and it's always great, but this time I went there to have a dinner with my family. It was a very busy Saturday night and we were sitting in the back room, next to a group of very loud and rude guys. I asked the waitress if we could move to another table and they managed to find one for us very quickly even though it was extremely busy and we were a group of six people. I really appreciate that kind of customer service. The food is always good, pizza is the real deal and pasta was very tasty. I highly recommend this place.

We could not fault our experience. Despite being quite busy, the staff were friendly, attentive and responsive. There was a good selection of drinks and authentic Italian meals as well as house specials. The service was quick but we did not feel pressured to finish up and move on, even as we lingered to chat and enjoy one last drink from the bar. I look forward to returning to try other dishes from the menu.

The food and customer service here is exceptional. The pizza and pasta is delicious and makes you want to revisit. We went for a birthday dinner and we were not disappointed.

Had lunch gnocchi. Not bad, not excellent. Good menu and options for Italian however. I will probably go back to try other things.
