The customer service on the phone and through emails was the worst it could be. Maryann told me on the phone that I couldn’t speak to a manager because I was annoying her. The product didn’t work as intended but she still had the gall to tell me it was my fault. Even tried messaging the Instagram, they read my messages but won’t reply. How this place is still going with customer service like this, I don’t know. I would recommend you buy from literally anywhere else.

I used this company for the first time to order a hairbrush my hairdresser had specifically recommended. I needed it by a deadline for a special event. As I was new, I also ordered a few extra bits but sadly when my order arrived, the one thing I had needed was missing. I rang up to explain the situation and spoke with Michelle who was so helpful on behalf of their customer care team. She organised express delivery of the missing item that very same day, even taking it to the post shop herself (I could tell from the package). I received it in time for the event, and when I opened it, there was a lovely personal handwritten note, and an unexpected extra brush as a gift for the inconvenience. To me this is first class service and should be recognised as such. I definitely will recommend them to my friends!

Worst store to spend your money. The way these people treat their customers is just ridiculous.
I’m a person with disability and while studying at Tafe we were given beautopia brochure with exclusive deals for hairdressing equipments for students.
I ordered a full hairdressing kit over $500 which included a pair of Jaguar scissors costing $197.
I choose expensive and best scissors when there are scissors in market as low as $10.

For the next 7 months I used the scissors on dummy and occasionally on clients.
Suddenly the blades of one of the scissors started getting stuck and won’t cut the hair.
This is normal for scissors but for this expensive scissors to get stuck like this felt very weird.

I contacted customer care and they said they can have their technician to look at the scissors and that will cost $50 on top of the postage I have to pay to send it to them.
When I asked them about warranty on these scissors they simply brushed off their hands saying THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON SCISSORS IF SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THEM IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTICED WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK.

I was very disappointed and asked them again what’s the point of buying so expensive scissors if you not gonna provide any warranty?
That’s like loosing trust on a trusted brand.

After couple of email exchange they stopped replying to my emails. I was so disappointed and spoke to my teacher almost shedding to tears.

I have a disability and on very low income support I just couldn’t afford to buy another pair. Then my teacher gave me another pair for free from Tafe store.

These people have no regard I even told them about my medical condition but again no response.
I don’t expect them to give anything for free but it’s Beautopia’s core responsibility to replace or fix the faulty product.
Anyway I would never ever order from them again and will tell everyone at Tafe not to order from them.

WARNING processing time for online orders is 2-5 business days, on top of 1-4 business days delivery. Hence Sydney metro area delivery from this supplier can take up to 2 weeks elapsed. This information is not disclosed at time of checkout, and instead is only available on their web site under the "Shipping & Delivery" link. This level of service is sub-standard even in the COVID-19 era. For far better service including same-day service, try Sydney Salon Supplies in Surry Hills.

I have been ordering from beautopia for many years. I love their range of products, the staff are amazing, and have are trained hairdressers on hand to ask any questions about hair. I never go anywhere else. Jeval colours are beautiful!
