Beare Park reviews
42Nice little waterfront park. At the right time of day there is a glimpse of a beach, but it's mostly used by dogs. Otherwise there is a decent sized grass area with views of the boat harbour and the water. Public toilets, cafe on the jetty. There is no public thoroughfare so if you intend to walk the Manly to Bondi route you'll skip this place. Worth a quick detour.
Affectionately referred to as Darlinghurst Beach. (Especially at low tide). This little harbourside park is a hidden gem, perfect for a picnic, or that gentle walk of your fur baby. Check off leash permissable times to avoid the Rangers wrath.
Scenic spot to hang around in! There is actually beach access so theoretically you can swim in the harbour from the beach. A lot of ppl here host parties in the grass. A lot of locals and visitors alike love this place
The best place for small dogs to run off leash. With access to a small harbour beach for dogs to swim
I love this place, combine park and open space, view to the water and sky in mid Spring.so greatful place just near the city of Darlinghurst Elizabeth Bay.
Love taken my Halo there She loves watchn all the dogs does not join in to small but tottaly enjoys it
A little quiet corner oasis between Potts Point and Rushcutters Bay - just a nice spot to come down, relax, bring your dogs and a picnic. Also great site for kayaking and other ocean sports
Such a great little park in an amazing neighbourhood. Such a good vantage point for the sunrise in the mornings.
Great location, right on the harbour. Harbourside cafe with million dollar views. There's a kid's playground which is terribly in need of an overhaul and upgrade.
A little gem of a park and playground in a beautiful location. Great for some time out with kids and is also dog friendly.
It is a very nice place and a very nice view. Seems a little Eden just beside kings cross. You have a bar in the warf to can drink something while you see the sea.
Great little park near the water and wharf with a kids playground +dog friendly also has a toilet and is close to cafes up the road
Beautiful green park next to the water. Lots of dogs running round and people of all ages having picnics and strolling.
A rather quiet park with a short boardwalk looking over towards Garden Island. You can swim here during low tide with just enough sand bar exposed during low tide.
Used to live here in a small unit. Beare Park was my daily beach, garden and sometimes bathing place.very calm Marina when the Cockatoos and Lorikeets don’t talk shop!
Lovely hidden away park that is right on the water. There are toilet and a drinking fountain, also there is a coffee shop thats open till 3pm with big breakfasts.
Usually, people have events in Beara park for example, birthday, baby showers etc.as it doesn't get crowded. In my opinion, it's the best park in the area
Small park with a few seats and generally quiet in the morning - great place to catch the morning sun (and a coffee)!
Great for your dog but best on leash. Lovely harbourside park. Great harbour and water views. Good location for a picnic
Beare Park is located at the northern end of Ithaca Road in Elizabeth Bay. Take Ward Avenue from William Street. Turn right at the roundabout onto Elizabeth Bay Road and then left onto Ithaca Street.
