Beacon Hill Lookout

Great view of Mutton Island, beach and ocean.
Also a good place for whale spotting at the right time of year.

Absolute useless! Trying to look out to the ocean from the car park you cannot see a thing because of the height of all the trees.

A beautiful look out over the jetty at coffs harbour. Also an excellent vantage for new years eve fireworks on the harbour.

Beautiful spot to look over the harbour and jetty. Reasonable amount of parking, and the view is the bomb. You can access the lookout in a wheelchair (no stairs) and there are seats and a short walk from the carport for those with an ambulant disability.
I lived in Coffs for many years and I regularly went to this spot to just breathe the sea air, watch the sun or moon sparkling on the water and enjoy the ambience.

Beautiful location that could benefit from significant investment. The outlook from this site is magnificent, but the infrastructure present, considering such, is woeful. It would be good to see the local government invest more money into infrastructure. This location deserves considerable funds being allocated to a large lookout platform being built, with some nice restaurants attached.

Not what it once was. View is now blocked by trees and can really only view the jetty and north.

Crazy view of the Harbour. Nice easy access. It’s a must see for a photo. Kids say it’s crazy too.

Great lookout over the coast & airport to the south, planes coming into land flying just over your head.

It was a beautiful day. First sunny day for a week. Great view of the Marina and Mutton Bird Island. Also the mountain in the opposite direction. There is a carpark and benchs to sit down.

Nice lookout, it was rather quiet during winter and I could watch the sunset all by myself from up there.

Good lookout when the tops of the trees are trimmed for the airplanes to fly into the airport.
Sunrise views are the best

Some beautiful views of Coffs Harbour over the city and coast line. There is a map at look out pointing out directions of islands and local views. Enjoyable scenery, watch aircraft landing in Coffs Harbour airport. Or enjoy overlooking trains passing by. Soak in the early morning sounds of birds as you watch the sunrise over the harbour. ️

You can also overlook the airport see the planes landing and taking off, lovely spot, Maggies everywhere warbling to you

Great views over the jetty and ocean. You can also sit up there and watch the planes come in and fly back out again.

Lovely high (for Coffs) Lookout. No toilets, etc, but a good view and a compass showing local landmarks and islands.

Nice lookout with both beach and hinterland views, not too far out of the way of town so easy to get to.

This place has gorgeous views affording lovely scenic views. Also a great place for both candid & posed family shots.

Beautiful spot, nice area to have lunch. No shade or facilities but the view makes up for it. If you're lucky, you might see a plane fly low overhead!
