I called Beachside Coffs Harbour yesterday and spoke to a very polite young lady about old X-rays two thirds being theirs and the rest being hospital and some others she said because we are regular customers I could bring them in all of them. I took them today and was addressed by a very nice young lady saying that you cannot I was trying to tell her that I had explained what I was told but not interested end up taking from me. A lady behind said to how rude is she so not just me. Hope we do not have to deal with her on our next visit there.

This business has a serious lack of interest in answering the phone. Don't pay any regard to their recorded message as the opposite appears to be the case.

I waited 55mins for an answer on phone to Coffs. No reponse at all to MRI # not even recorded message! During the hour I had a recorded message saying I was valued. Poor receptionist apologised but was very emotional & obviously upset at the failure in "new/ updated" call-answer service. No way to leave my contact for a call back. A good way for BR to lose both clients & staff!

Do not go here they are liars and thives i was Lied to by the person that made appointment waited 2 weeks to get appointment then have counter attempt to rob me do not go here liars and thieves incompetent take no responsibility or accountability.

Used to be great but nowadays it’s difficult to get though to anyone on the phone, sometimes I have been on hold for 30mins and just hung up. I send emails through also and don’t get reply’s anymore. Also the amounts of times I have been called on the morning of appointments to be told the radiographer is sick and I have rebook cause there is no one else that can do it. Sometimes waiting weeks at a time to get back in. Have moved to Imed

Honestly, the star that I don’t even want to give goes to the lovely sonographer Ashley.
Everything else gets 0 / 0!

First of all, don’t bother calling them unless you have at least 1/2 hour to sit on hold listening to Beachside telling you how they provide “quality service”.

We are having our first baby and really wanted to get the lovely 3D scan, despite constantly hearing “don’t go to Beachside” we thought we would give them a go. What a mistake!

I am so glad I have not gone there for any diagnostic obstetric scans, if they can’t even handle a non-diagnostic…

The first time we went all appeared to go smoothly until we wanted to get our pictures. Because of babies position the lovely sonographer Ashley offered a second complimentary scan in a few weeks to get some better pictures which we found lovely and we’re very grateful for.

So we paid $150 for our pictures, we got them 3 days later after dealing with many incapable reception staff and complicated measures.

First they told us to return in a couple hours to pick up the CD with the pictures on it.
It wasn’t ready.

So we returned the next day in the afternoon, still not ready and no apology, so explanation ect. So, I waited until I had to leave.

Tried to call them later on to see if it was ready, I waited on hold for 40 minutes, just for it to cut out!
I tried to call again the next day, waited 30 minutes to get to talk to someone! Eventually picked up my CD - then the next problem.

The CD doesn’t work! After finding a device that still reads CDs which was a pain in itself, we were so excited to see out baby.but no - the disk didn’t work. On the front of the disk it says “please ask our staff for instructions on how to view images when using a macintosh”….

What a joke! You cannot even get ahold of ANY staff member at any time!
Never the less, I phoned again, waited on hold again for half an hour and the lady said “I’ve never heard of it” in reference to the label on the CD.
After losing much patience I requested them to send it to me another way, as obviously I couldn’t see them and she was no help.
She eventually said she may be able to text me a link to view them. Sounds good!
Yet alas, never received a text, confirmed my mobile number multiple times and still no text.
Another mind numbing wait on hold to Beachside to eventually get them to email a link so I can see out baby.

3 weeks later - we come to get our complimentary scan, hopeful this time will be much better.

Well let’s just say, after complaining about our previous experience we thought that maybe they may be a little better with their communication and efforts.

We were told after getting the scan that we would receive a text message with a link.
That was at 9: 30am, it is now 4: 45pm and after 4 attempts to call Beachside to ask where our pictures are I have given up.
The first phone call went for 40 minutes without even speaking to a human being and then it just cut out.
Tired again, same story.

Honestly - avoid this ‘service’ at all costs.
If they cannot even look after ultrasounds that are non-diagnostic I would NEVER trust them with any obstetric scans of my baby.

I will never recommend Beachside to anyone, especially pregnant women.

When I eventually get a hold of them and get my pictures I will be letting them know just how awful they are.

Backup staff not well trained. If they don't do a promised return phone call, call them again a nd keep notes on who you talk to. Is all else fails stop in to see them and talk with a manager

Very friendly, welcoming young lady with a beautiful smile. All was explained to me re my MRI, questionnaire form given to me to fill out prior to my MRI. Escorted down to where my test was done by another young & friendly female, procedure explained & any questions I had were all answered professionally, nothing was too much trouble. After MRI I was in severe pain from lying down & still for the 40 minutes, the staff member was so caring & concerned for my welfare.
I was amazed at how she took the time to make sure I could proceed to leave. Thank you so much to your wonderful staff. I will recommend you highly.

Worst Experience Ever!
At first, I booked my 12-week ultrasound. I have already done my blood test from S&N. The receptionist asked for my referral and asked if I had done my blood test before my ultrasound and where? I said yes, I did, and I have done it in S&N. When I did my ultrasound, the radiologist asked the same question, and I gave the same answer.
A week later, I haven't received my result.
My GP asked me if i have done my scan as she still dis not receive the result. I had to call Beachside Radiology and they ask again if i have done my blood test as they havent receive a copy, i said i already said yes i did in S&N and how come they did not follow up and or S&N sent my report to my GP. Overall, 10 days delay of result from Beachside Radiology.
Worst part is, i again booked for my Morphology Scan 3 weeks before my appointment. 35 minutes before my appointment i received a text message to call them.
Only to find out thatthey has to cancel my appointment due to the technician is sick and no one will replace her.
A huge hassle as the next appointment will be in 3 weeks time and they don’t care!
I won’t ever recommend this place, especially to pregnant mums.
They need more training and a good workflow of their system.

Professional.unkike other places in Coffs who want you to wait 3 months for pain relief on injections. I would highly recommend beachside any time. Bookings easy, questions answered by staff, friendly people. A cut above other useless places.

Been here several times and the staff are fine. Just don’t expect your call for an appointment will be answered in under a 35min.wait. While I was reassured innumerable times by an annoying faux sympathetic voice that my “call is important” this clearly is not the case.

OK, so the staff are just lovely.but there seems to be issues getting reports to Doctor's which you are NOT told about until you go in for your appt.the signs state 3 - 7 days.
I had a CT done on Tuesday morning and wrote on my booking form that I had a GP appt on Friday.and then to be told when I went to my GP told the report was not there. I called up and was told it would take a few more days. I advised I had written my appt info on the booking sheet and was told "there are signs up advising it will take 7 days" - which in fact was incorrect, the signs say 3 - 7 days.
So, now I'm back to waiting again for Beachside Rad and then I'll have to wait again to get another GP appt.which is no longer bulk billed.
Pretty poor service as people go there for a service and have to wait, wait, wait.then wait, wait, wait again to get a GP appt.
Not sure what the hold up is, but someone needs to pull up their socks.

They wrote down appointment time 2: 50pm on the card, and when we got there one of the stuff said we were early, I asked what was the appointment time for me, they said 3: 20pm waited there for more than half an hour, no communication and rude receptionist. Go to other ones.

Quick and efficient experience. Big shout out to Savannah who booked my 3 appointments in one morning. She was so lovely and accomodating as were the staff who performed my procedures, they made a me feel so relaxed. Fabulous service.

Wait approximately an hour - this business has no idea of time management - go to home base instead! Much better service and alot (by far) quicker

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, doesn’t even wanna give single star
Went there for morphology scan today which was scheduled at 9: 10 am, and reached there at 9: 20 am because of lots of road work going on as I was travelling from wooli, drive of more than an hour, but was straight away got refused to get the scan done
Even after a lot of request they did not considered any reason why we were late for just 10 minutes
And when asked can they book us further, was again get refused to not being able to book us in next 4 week
And as My wife will pass on the time frame of her scan they can’t actually Do it for us, where our initial appointment was booked 2 months before. Reception staff is so stubborn that they will not even try and fit u in and help u out, they kept saying me we told u to come 10 minutes before but no one actually told me that and have not received any message day prior to my appointment
Total waste of time as they just don’t care about you.
They need to have some kind of understanding.

The drs and technicians have wonderful compassionate bedside manners.
