Thank you for all your support before, during and after the birth of our beautiful girl. You really gave us practical support and advice that meant we were fully equipped for the experience, which ever way it went. We truly value you as a part of our team and appreciate the thought and commitment you showed us all of the way. I can't imagine having such a positive experience without you there.

Such incredible support-from the moment I met Brita I felt at ease. She worked hard to get to know in such a short time so that come labour I felt a dear friend who knew me well was there to support me. Before labour she regularly checked in with me and was someone I could talk to. I had a very long and painful labour (46hours) -not once did Brita indicate tiredness or frustration despite such a marathon labour that required a lot of physical support from her during the contractions. She was kind, caring, compassionate and practical-everything you need in a support person. If you are looking for a doula stop and count your lucky stars you have found this woman, she is amazing!

Having Brita as my doula made a huge, positive difference when I had my daughter. I felt so much calmer and better prepared for whatever might happen. Brita respected my wishes and backed me all the way. She's a genuine, kind person who really loves what she does, and it shows.

Finding a Doula was a last minute thought for us as we were feeling unconfident about the birth of our first child. Brita swept in and gave us the mindset, awareness and support that we needed. Even though we had only met Brita about 2 weeks before the birth, we felt instantly at ease and comfortable with her. Brita was an amazing support during the birth and brought much needed calm when it all got a little intense with so many people in the room. She was a link between my husband, myself and the doctors and nurses as she knew exactly what I wanted when I couldn’t express it and my husband was also occupied with me. Brita is worth her weight and more in gold and I am so glad we had her as our doula.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Brita as my doula during my twin pregnancy.
She so clearly has found her passion and calling in life, and that makes for an unwavering support person.
My ideal birth was very suddenly unattainable due to pregnancy complications, having to deal with the emotional and mental hurdle so far along in my pregnancy was a huge blow - but with Britas guidance and support, my partner and I embraced the change and we had a beautiful delivery of our twins. My birth satisfaction was met and every ounce of me believes that was due to Brita. I instantly felt a connection with her, so much so that I trusted her to be with my newborn babies in NICU while I was in recovery, my partner was back and forth between myself and the bubs - I felt included and involved in every moment of the twins NICU experience even though I wasn't there. Brita was messaging me, sending me photos and videos and relaying everything the doctors were saying. Brita, thank you for being such a wonderful support, you were truely the force we needed during pregnancy and birth and I would highly recommend you to anyone who asks.

Although my birth was over 18 months ago now, I still rave about the amazing experience I had with Brita by my side. From the moment my (what turned out to be) long labour kicked in, Brita was there to support and guide me through it. She was calm and confident and like a friend holding my hand (although metaphorically to start with), making sure I was as comfortable as possible all throughout our engagement not just in the birthing suite. The comfort and assurance she provided my husband was also exactly what we/he needed! She made sure I was able to discuss and try to overcome any fears I had before birth and also made sure I was able to stick to my birth intentions. There was a moment I wavered and she was able to bring me back and centre me which was amazing. Although my birth wasn't as euphoric as I had hoped, it was a still a great outcome and one I look back on proudly. Couldn't have done it without an amazing birth team though! Thank you beautiful Brita xx

Asking Brita to be our doula was, hands down, the best choice we made for the pregnancy and birth of our baby; the level of support, knowledge and experience she brought to our birthing team was invaluable. Brita is understanding, open-minded and one of those people who naturally empowers others. We felt we could ask her anything. Though the idea of birth was confronting, she was instrumental in shaping the beauty of the process and enjoying it for all that it is.

Brita has the rare ability to understand where individuals and the couple are at, and then tailor her support to each unique scenario. Not surprisingly then, she supported us exactly as we needed it, while also making it clear what each of us needed to be prepared for. She brings an authentic example of birthing and parenting. Whether one has known Brita for a long or short time, it is clear she is perfectly suited to midwifery and we’re ever so grateful to be among the beneficiaries of her insights, love and passion.

Engage Brita as your Doula now, then come back and read all the reviews! You would be extremely blessed to have her support you on your journey to Parenthood!

This is one of those times when I wish I could add an additional 5 stars and a bunch of lovehearts to a rating!

Brita always talks about the privilege of being part of someone's birthing, however I believe that the privilege was all ours. We are one of the fortunate families who had the AMAZING privilege of having Brita on hand in the run up to the birth of our son and in the weeks immediately afterwards.
She stepped in during my last few midwife appointments, offering calming words and asking questions that helped reduce my fears.

When it came to the actual labour & birth, Brita arrived within 30mins of my partner calling her. She stepped in and created an amazing, calm and welcoming environment in the labour room. Fetching blankets and ice, ensuring that my partner ate, taking photos and so so so much more. The onsite midwives were inundated with so many births that day and were exceptionally grateful that we had Brita with us.

She visited us in the hospital and also several times once we had brought our son home to make sure that we were settling in well. We still read the beautiful Birth Story that she wrote for us.

Brita epitomises the term Doula (A doula (/ˈduːlə/), also known as a birth companion, birth coach or post-birth supporter) and takes it to the next level.

Thank you so much for supporting us on our journey into parenthood!

We are so grateful to Brita; she was an amazing support to both my husband and myself through our beautiful natural birth experience. The beginning of my labour didn’t quite play out to how I imagined it would; I quickly became overwhelmed and lost confidence in myself. When Brita walked into the birthing suite, she gently touched my shoulders, and helped me to focus on my breath. Her gentle touch and continual words of encouragement were able to keep me calm, and gave me the reassurance and strength I needed throughout the birth. Every mother deserves to have a doula as caring and supporting as Brita, to support her through their pregnancy, birth and beyond.
