Dr Irene genuinely cares about your health and is a passionate professional with lots of effective strategies to get you back to enjoying optimal health and movement. She is a holistic health practitioner who goes beyond just treating the symptoms and aims to get to the cause of the disharmony in your body. When I first starting seeing her, she recommended regular appointments to fast track my progress. She knew I didn’t live locally, so she referred me to a trusted colleague who was convenient for me for my midweek appointments. To me, that proves her true intent to help others.
As an athlete at the 2000 Olympics (Kim Briggs - Olympic Handball) I’ve been treated by many chiros and physios throughout my life for sports injuries and for general health. I’ve experienced a range of skill levels and philosophies to health and wellness. In my experience, treatment is more successful and long lasting when a holistic approach, such as Dr Irene’s, is utilised.

I was referred to Dr Irene by a friend who recommended her for NET (Neuro Emotional Therapy), which I was interested in trying (as it uses muscle testing to reprogram your subconscious thoughts).

But upon my first assessment visit, she advised I address my physical structure and nervous system with chiro work first (across a 10 week program).

Admittedly, I was sceptical, and thought "This isn't what I came here for! ".

BUUUT.

It totally transformed my life.

Not only did she proactively teach me how my body can thrive (both in sessions and in a free 90-minute workshop), but she made me feel better than I have in years.

Neck pain I had over the years that I just assumed was a result of aging disappeared, and my posture and structure improved dramatically.

Now, instead of craving a Thai massage, I crave a chiro visit. LOL

I also changed other aspects of my life, like stretching in the morning, taking regular breaks from sitting at the computer, and not eating cereal for brekky.

On my first visit, parking was easy. I went in and Lauren (who is awesome too!) showed me around their quint little space (including the free self-development book library they have).

I'd often geek out with them on things like nutrition, Dr Joe Dispenza, and holistic and vitalistic treatment and living.

I never really gave much thought to preventive care to thrive before, but Dr Irene and her merry gang changed my mind, fo' shizzle.

I have been here to treat a variety of joint issues with my hip and shoulder and after every adjustment have always felt so much pain relief and feeling generally lighter. If you walk in you will notice the whole range of products they offer from memory foam pillows to arch support flip flops. This just goes to show they believe in what they do and will always have in mind what is best for your body.

I had frozen shoulder in September last year due to long hours of sitting in-front of the computer because lockdown. I was not able to lift my hand more than 30 degrees and had affected my daily activities. I contacted Be Chiropractic for an urgent consultation, Dr Irene was able to identify the root to my issues and being giving me a good 'adjustment' to correct my neck and posture. Instead of having unbearable pain and sleepless night, Dr Irene was able to fix my shoulder within 12 sessions of therapy. I have recovered and have brought my daughters to get them check and adjust too.

Staffs at the practice are friendly and always helpful. Frankie is always there to keep the kids entertained.

I have been seeing Dr Irene for 6 months. Initially for treatment of 2 years chronic sciatica pain (caused by sedentary lifestyle), and more recently, stress-related jaw/neck/shoulder pain which has been causing headaches.
