BCF (Boating Camping Fishing) Auburn reviews
45My father and I had the best customer experience at BCF today in Auburn! Abdul is an asset to this business because he went above and beyond to cater for our needs. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides genuine advice. Abdul is amazing in his approach & very supportive. This store is highly recommended. Thanks Abdul for the exceptional service which is rare in Sydney these days.
Poor customer service. Asked to do a ship to home order and asian guy refused service and wouldn’t even check.
Came on 17/01 2pm

Great store, but what a crape parking situation- it's great to have 20 empty disabled parking spots- but just as good to have a few regular spots out front.
Probably great for fishing gear, but very average for camping. Display stock was hit and miss, no staff on the floor to help and certain sections were an absolute mess. Stock levels seems to be low or non existent in some parts also.
The whole complex where BCF is located is the worst place I have seen in my life 1/5. First, the parking is only 2.1m clearance or good luck finding some limited parking outside. I had to go around the block two times to find a spot. This takes time as it requires right turn into a busy road. Then finding your way to BCF is another challenge. No directions and multiple walkways up, down, stairs, full labyrinth style. You end up walking too far or walking unnecessarily up, then down, then up again.
The BCF experience also very poor. They supposed to have the item in stock (I checked online). I asked the sales person if I can see it. He responded computer says no, because it is only one item in stock, and normally it means they don't have it. He refused to check physically. I went and ordered it from another store and picked it up from Wetherill Park about 45 minutes later. BCF Auburn lost $1,500 revenue that day and I am not coming back ever again.
Worst staff I have ever seen, they don’t have patient, and don’t want to answer any questions, never try to help the customer, specially those 2 older staff, I put 1 star because there is no choice of 0
Management atrocious, I feel sorry for the people who work there on the floor. We wanted to buy two things which together are worth over 1k.
One thing was in their storeroom which is so messy that they couldn’t even get to it. The other, the key was broken and they couldn’t unlock the cabinet. What the?
Sent us to Western Sydney because they couldn’t get our stuff out? !
Probably 1 of the best branches Ibhave visited.
Well stocked and exceptional customer service.
This is a really nice store and they employ deaf clerks who can't speak to the point of ignoring me and I need to support them morally.
Fishing dude was knowledgeable and helped me out with my three piece surf rod! Let's get some work in om that rod!
Absolute legends that work here. All amazing I’m their fishing knowledge and ability to help you with what you need. Adam in particular the store manager was a top bloke - thanks again for helping me out!
Every staff members are very helpful, great selections of fishing gear ans apparels to choose form, bought chars and baits, very happy with purchase
Only been to Auburn BCF twice and found staff to be attentive and friendly. I usually order online, but I had to physically return/exchange a reel and a rod and it was easy and quick. Looked after me very well. Assisted me looking for flathead lures too. And, they open on time the 2 times I have been there. Good store, heap of gear, recommend, thankyou.
Slightly higher prices.
But you can find all the outdoor stuffs here!
It’s simply amazing.
If you love fishing, you’ll be addicted to it.
A giant camping and fishing store with a great range of product and friendly helpful staff.
The range of products offered here are really broad and if you're looking for a fishing rod this is the place to check out.
There are around in 5 aisles of rods and a dedicated reel counter.
The boating navigation section looks great as well.
There are a lot of special products and lots of different types of camping supplies.
Came to do a transaction where I had given wrong information from another store and a female staff was very understanding and friendly.
I recommend to everybody.
Good prices. Good Quality.
I purchased set of led spot lights. Also a led light bar.
Good quality. Very happy.
Thank you BCF
Absolutely terrible customer service. Out of the 3 staff at the front counter when I walked in, not one greeted me, nor did they offer assistance.
Went to the castle hill store, didn't have stock in what I was after and couldn't get any help (they were a little busy). Went to the Auburn store, had what I needed and great help from the staff.
I ordered online to be told nothing is in stock (it said it was online) I complained and organised a delivery. It's been two weeks and still haven't received a part of my order. I went in the store and said give me the item, you have in stock. I was refused even though I had paid for it. I won't be using this particular BCF store ever again.
