Bay Tree Tea Shop

On Sunday around midday, I visited the establishment. Our order was straightforward: a long black and a flat white. We patiently waited for 15 minutes to receive our coffee, while other patrons who arrived after us were promptly served their food and beverages.

I discreetly brought to the waiter's attention a dirty plate, mistakenly placed at our table, partially covered in whipped cream. His reaction was less than pleasant, making a face in response.

In light of our tight schedule due to catching a train, I politely requested the waiter to expedite our order since he was nearby. Instead, he chose to lecture me rudely and sarcastically, prolonging the conversation unnecessarily.

Regrettably, we left the establishment without our order. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a respectful and efficient dining experience. It was the only place I've visited in Australia where I felt mistreated.

Very nice café with ample seating.
Ordered their Bacon and Egg roll. Chef came out and explained their different bread rolls for us to choose from. The B&E was AMAZING, best we have ever had.
Staff were all lovely and friendly and even came out to say hello to our dog.

Ruben with home made kraut and scones so fluffy and fresh will definately recommend to friends also love the vintage decor and english tea house vibe!

The food is great, you can tell it’s freshly baked. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I also like the cozy blue mountains decor and warm fire, great coffee too!

Good cafe. Delicious pumpkin soup and Devonshire teas both were $14.50 each. Friendly service. Decent flat white $4.50 for a small.

Food here is just amazing. From scones to pudding to pork & fennel rolls, we tried multiple things here, and everything is delicious. On top of that, service is great. Highly recommend.
