Bay Tinh Restaurant reviews
78 This has to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The choice of banquet or ala carte is available with a good range of vegetarian and non vegetarian options.
The food was delicious and is clean in presentation and taste. The best Bahn Koht we have had. See pic i.e. The crispy vienamese rice cakes. The second pic is their Red Curry Chicken. Their condiments that accompany some dishes are house made. Other dishes were just as good. Highly recommended!
Amazing food and great service. Dishes you can't get anywhere else - I miss living in the area and eating their grilled stuffed squid!
Bay Tinh is an old favourite. It's moved location and sold last year. Despite all that I has the MOST tasty and delicious meal tonight. Exceptionally fresh and made with passion. Thank you!
Came to celebrate my birthday. Great food and excellent service. We even got free drink offered from the host
Amazing place with real tasty food
Definitely come back and recommend.
One of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney. Food was gorgeous. Service was fantastic. It is BYO. And $3.50 pp corkage.
For 2 people we had starter to share and 2 mains and was $88 so reasonable. Will go back
A Saturday dinner with friends (14 of us) The restaurant is amazing. Delicious food, excellent service and great location. Highly recommend
Have been coming here for 17 years. It’s been through some changes but our meal tonight was the best, really fresh and a wonderful crispy filled pancake. The stuffed squid delicious and papaya salad deliciously different with we think added orange.
The staff as always are lovely We’ll be back
Really delicious Thai restaurant in Marrickville. Spring Rolls, calamari, pho, pancake were all excellent!
Highly recommend this neighbourhood gem. Amazing food made with great fresh ingredients and a twist. Must try if you love Vietnamese cuisine.
Food was good and service was great. The way how they fill wine glass was also great. Very full! We will be back.
Fake Pho Thin, food are terrible as well as the service. Never ever go there again. May I ask the owner what about the service and food there? Worst fry rice ever, worst Pho ever. Jesus, small portions. Very disappointed when u advertised is Saigon Taste.
We find Bay Tinh' s dishes very fresh and delicious as always.
We had the $44 banquet per person so eight of us could enjoy all seafood dishes.
The service was so good that they allowed us to have 4 serves of noodles and 4 serves of rice instead of 8 serves of one type.
We were so full that we could not finish the last dish so we had to take away.
Some pretty audacious claims in the menu, and they somehow still manage to exceed expectations. Tried the stuffed chicken and the beef mains, was not let down.
We had a birthday party for 10 people on Thursday night, luckily we booked otherwise it would be very busy. We ordered the 'Bay Tinh Seafood Banquet' for $44 per person, we loved every single dish of the Banquet. We will definitely come back for another Banquet:)
We were a hungry party of eight persons and were looking for an authentic vietnamese dining experience! Service level and interaction was great and friendly. However, the food was very average and did not felt authentic! Firstly, we had to ask and was charged for extra vegetables to wrap the spring rolls and pancake with before dipping into the sauce (something that I expected to be the norm and standard way of eating these entrees). The nuoc mam also lacked punch and felt diluted. Main dishes were lacking originality and dull, except for the lotus wrapped rice which was interesting! I doubt we will be back despite the great friendly service and wish them all the best to improve their offerings to be more original! Less Aus viet, more Viet viet. For what we had, food prices were a bit on the high side as well.
Had dinner here with a friend last night and it was excellent! We had the Vietnamese pancake, fresh prawn rolls and the clay pot fish. All were beautiful. The service was excellent too. I highly recommend.
I’ve been going here for 30 years love the food, my most recent trip made us both sick, one dish was inedible & was sent back
Very disappointing
I hadn't been to Bay Tinh for a long time because I no longer live locally but decided to go last night. The service was excellent - the staff we so friendly and welcoming and the food was as good as I always remembered it. Well done to all the staff. I look forward to our next visit
Outstanding food and flavours. Excellent service. Definitely a place to visit again n again.
I have been going here for 32 years. Now won’t be back what a shame the food is barely eatable. Won’t be back my son who’s 26 won’t either. Fish cakes that’s what they called it was full of oil no taste. Fried prawn roll was yuck. The other dish was eatable. The whole time was getting the odour from a ball that was spraying out a awlful smell why have it. I would rather smell food. Didn’t complain as they don’t know how to cook. Ethic Vietnamese food shame
