Bay Pavilions reviews
28Wow we went with our Grandaughters and they had the best time here. There was so much to do. The staff were all lovely. Anyone can come here and any age as well. What a awsome place.
Great place to bring the family especially when it's bad weather down south. Life guards are super friendly, and the couple of bearded new blokes at the slides are champions! Thanks for a super fun time for my family and friends!
Omg had so much fun very clean my granddaughter's had a ball will b back as soon as we can thank u
A very nice swimming pool specially for someone like me who prefers warmer water temperatures. A spa and steam room would have made it perfect.
I wish they had Jet Sprays to massage your back like they have at Stromlo Pool.
The heated pool is fantastic especially at this time of year.
The Cafe serves a good breakfast and great coffee.
We where here for a swimming carnival. Parking was easy. Staff were welcoming. Facilities were great, modern and clean. It was winter and the slides and water parks were all fully operational. Kids needing to be 6 years old and over 120cm tall to ride the water slides.
It’s an easy flat 5 minute walk into town for extra services if needed.
Good family fun if you love the water
I did notice that the disability parking was a decent distance away from the entrance, but was still all flat easy access
Nice new facility however seating in the centre is extremely tight. Watched a show and found seats very small, tight and not very comfortable
The Cafe is closing at 1600 now that is a disgraceful when it opened it was until 1900 and now 1600 lazy workers.
New and shiny with great friendly staff. Nice and varied facilities and classes. Aqua aerobics were fun.
Fast becoming a local favourite space for healthy work out and fun in a clean well maintained venue
The gym has good quality (Life Fitness) equipment which is very new. Staff were friendly. Cleanest gym I’ve ever been in. $17 for a single entry is pretty reasonable.
Friendly staff, new and clean facilities. Coffee very drinkable. Kids had a great time. Thanks
Great place, very affordable for rides and slides. Food is ridiculously over priced though
Worth a visit, ideal for kids and adults plus swimmers and non swimmers. Hot pools, reasonably priced plus gym for adults. Generally get very busy during holidays and weekends, better to go early because sometimes they reach their capacity and then you have to wait outside.
Family if 4 for 3 hours… we had a great day in a super hot day. Managed to get parking easily. The slides and pool were great, kids and parents had a blast. 2hours was probably enough time though. Clean ammenities for changing. Only downside - a lot of the lockers had broken mechanisms and could be used, we did manage to get one but that was after 7 failed attempts. Lots of broken doors, missing matches, controller not responding.
Amazing facility. One of the best community indoor pool and slide complexes I've seen.
Ideal family play; 4 fantastic slides with indoor & outdoor aquatic fun parks ; heated water ; multiple pools and hours of fun!
Im not realy a fan the Rehabilitation pool here in batemansbay should only be for the people needing Rehabilitation when I went there yesterday the Rehabilitation pool was full of kids not needing Rehabilitation ulladulla pool way better no kid's in Rehabilitation pool at all.
Been an aquatic member at Bay Pavilions since the day the venue opened. I go today to swim my laps, am told that I can't go in, and I need to join the queue of 50+ people waiting outside and being allowed in only as others come out, because "we're at capacity in the aquatic centre", obviously with young kids and their families using the water slides and smaller pools.
Here's a suggestion: Before you get to capacity, set aside 5-10 spots for your lap swimmer members. The ones who pay their membership fees every week of the year, even when there isn't a tourist in sight. And it would have made no difference if I'd been allowed in anyway, I would have been able to find a lane to share no problem. The crowds are the people using the water slides and smaller pools, not in the lap swimming lanes.
Poor form and bad management.
