If you're looking for a personal training gym, I highly recommend checking out Baxter Basic Group Personal Training. They have amazing trainers who are super knowledgeable and supportive. The workouts are challenging but fun, and they really help you achieve your fitness goals.

The team is super nice, everyone is very easy going and chilled but they go the extra mile to make you sweat.

The workouts are very well planned and you get the support you need to get into the groove. Would definitely recommend Daz and team.

I joined small groups PT class in April 23.
I have just cancelled my membership as of 23/8/23.
Initially joined to make lifestyle changes for the long term. And wanted personalised PT.
It was very close to where we lived.
It allowed us to build new habit.
Darren & Jacob were great coaches knowledgeable and patient.
We specifically advised that we did not want to join any group classed. We only wanted to do the personalised/small group training.

Issue:
Around week 14 into training (3 x / week) due to medical issues my sister had to stop attending as she was advised she couldn't do any weight bearing - standing exercises. Until she was reviewed due to pain and inflammation of her ankles with ankle and foot. I continued to attend by myself for 2 weeks with Darren and Jacob. There was ample time to discuss or raise any issues if there was something to do with payment or possibly other options. However, nothing was raised with me in person during our 6 sessions.

One would think that after 4 months of training and more than $5K in fees paid. A change in training program options would have been discussed with client in person.

Instead, on Friday 18/8 I got a text around 4am cancelling my 5am session & requesting it to be rescheduled to Saturday 19/8 at 6am. I said fine, assuming it was because of a family/personal emergency for Darren. I showed up the next day on Saturday, no apology for late notice or cancellation or reason provided. Sunday 20/8 - a text message is received advising please check email as Monday sessions would no longer proceed as normal, I had to make decision on what I would like to do. Either pay more for 1: 1 session or there was a variety of options.

The blasé attitude after a considerable investment and lack of courtesy to at least discuss this with me in person was disappointing. It was emphasised to us when joining that if you cancelled even once without appropriate notice. Baxter had the option to refuse to train you. They had family etc to consider so would appreciate at least 24hrs notice if there was going to be a cancellation. I had less than an hour via text and less than 24 hrs via text & email on a Sunday.

Ironic how I was held to "their standard" and Darren couldn't hold himself to it?

Further to this when I expressed my disappointment and lack of face to face communication. I got gas lit.

Customer Service 101: Apologise to your customer. Don't make excuses. Own your mistakes rather than deflect or gas light. And never text saying, "I am sorry it was not handled to your liking. "

Have only been at Baxter Basics for a few weeks but I love it. It made me realise I needed help with my form and structure to my workouts.
Trainers are very friendly and eager to help you improve.

Baxter basics is a gym like no other the workouts are so versatile and suit anyone from beginner to advanced but the thing that separates them from others is the sense of community, it truly is one big familia.

I enjoy the workouts and as a result this provides me with the motivation I have needed to maintain some consistency. Since starting the training, I feel stronger. Lovely staff and lovely people to work out with.

Baxter basics is perfect for strenth training, fat loss.all coaches are friendly and they teach the technique according to our fitness level. I lost 5kgs within 2mnths of journey with BB.am looking forward to achieve my goals with Baxter basics.perfect PT group sessions in Rousehill. Everyday is a different workout.when i started, initial days I was only lifting 3kgs weight now am able to lift 10kg

After a break in exercising I joined Baxters Basics. I actually want to attend regularly, there is no judgement, loads of help available and lots of encouragement as you go. I highly recommend Baxters Basics!

I just completed my 12 weeks program and must say joining this place was one of the best decision I made. They have very positive environment and coaches are super friendly. Once you start here you do not wanna miss any of your classes. I never been to any profession training before and loved this place.

Have just started training 4 weeks ago and am really impressed with the set up and how friendly all the staff are. I was a bit concerned when I started as I have a hand injury and was worried I wouldn't be able to do all of the exercises but Coach Jacob has really looked after me and varied any exercise that I can't do, to something that I can. So far so good and I am confident I am in the right place to get results

Baxter Basics Group if u want to get fit in a friendly environment with great trainers like Daz, Ali, Jared and Ethan I highly recommend them. You get fit and have fun at the same time.

The Best Gym ever! Well experienced and caring Trainers with the highest quality of service. Such a friendly environment, Top quality equipment, Very clean and plenty of room. I Love the group classes and its such a motivation to keep going.to keep fit.and lose weight:)
