Battery World Chatswood replaced my car battery free of charge under warranty when the previous one performed poorly after one and a half years. Great service!

My mother took her mobility scooter battery here and they were quite helpful in locating a replacement for her at a cost of $529 per battery quipping another business would simply add their cost onto this.
From a picture my mum sent me of the battery, I was also able to locate the same battery at a cost of $316.
I rang battery world to see if they would price match and did ask if someone was having a lend of her due to the massive price difference and advised where I found at two other comparable priced stores locally.
I was accused of using the research of the store to which explained no I had in fact a picture of the battery details which I used and my job is actually finding pricing as a Procurement Manager.
They offered to speak with the boss and call me back. I was prepared to offer $350 for convenience of location.
I received a call back and was told they would not entertain it. They also made a smart arse comment with attitude that they will thank the owner on my behalf for the research he did.
Clearly they had not listened and due to their rudeness is why I write this review and will not deal with them again. It seems point scoring was more important than listening to the customer.

As you have not listened again I will further add this: if you were in fact offering a service, why didn't you load test the battery in the first instance and see whether it was in fact defective?
Obviously you didn't care and were after the sale. By the way, I find 4 stores offering the same price you say is below RRP. Well good on us for getting basically one battery for free.
I would have been happy to agree to disagree however the personal attack was totally unwarranted and unprofessional.

I would highly recommend battery world at Chatswood. Great service with Tim. He explained to me all the battery details and condition. Tim was very knowledgeable and friendly. All sorted in under 10 minutes! Great service!

Had a second battery system installed by Steve and his team a few weeks ago in our 4x4 for an upcoming roadtrip. Team was super helpful and knowledgeable, and made sure to talk us through everything before and after the install. System works fantastic and they even made sure we had enough spares incase of any issues on the road. Highly recommended!

Great local family run business. Steve and his staff very knowledgeable and professional. Provided batteries for our cars and caravan. Cannot fault their delivery and install service. Diagnosed issue with car not battery related so mechanic able to fix without spending lots of time trying find the issue.

George is such a honest and nice person! Battery became flat for no apparent reason. Did a thorough check on battery and alternator. In the end assured me nothing is wrong, without charging a cent at all. Will definitely go back to them in the future.

Woke up to a dead battery and called 5-6 different places to see what my options were. Battery World Chatswood offered the lowest quote (INCLUDING call out fee!) and George was fantastic to work with. He was super informative and helped me diagnose any further potential problems as well. I really cannot recommend this place enough!

George is a very nice person and come to our parking lot to check the dead car, although finding out it may not be the battery issue. Very helpful and efficient. Been there twice, very satisfied with their service.

My mother was in urgent need of special batteries for a couple of burglar alarm window reed switches as the alarm kept bleeping all night and couldn’t easily be disarmed. It was a Sunday, she is not going into shops during Covid, and the helpful young man at Chatswood Battery World delivered them to the Eastern Suburbs within 40 minutes. Incredible service.

Restaurants can learn from Battery World how to provide good service. It’s a place where you wouldn’t really expect much service as what can be more boring than batteries, yet surprise, excellent service like nowhere else.
