Bass Hill Plaza reviews
46Had the oysters and prawns for Xmas and just came back for more for NYE freshest seafood in the area hands down
Nice convenient local shopping centre.
Would like to see it cater more to the non-Muslim sector of community in terms of cafe selections and clothing. However, what is on offer does it well. Car park requires an upgrade
No doubt of parking it can hold more than 500 cars at a go very accessible to all kinds of people
Mobility parking taken up people with no permit all the time, the shopping centre as a whole is like being in another country
Horrible place. Noisy, overcrowded. No one wears a mask, although the place is a known covid hotspot. No free WiFi available. People are allowed to smoke at the front entrance at the cafe and pizza place in breach of state health regulations. Not enough handicapped parking. No one monitors the available spaces, although it is obvious that able bodied people use the handicapped parking all the time. Parking is a nightmare.
People non stop drive the wrong way. Arrows mean nothing. They ignore arrows, stop signs and speed like its the freeway.
Convenient for a quick dash to the shops. Woolworths, BWS, Aldi and Kmart plus a chemist, butcher, deli, fruit shop, bakery and florist. Also has Spec Savers, Vodafone and Optus plus food and clothing stores. Currently in lockdown (Sept 2021) most stores are closed, check websites.
My favourite mall, but always problem with parking, and always illegal parking for disables, I recommend police patrol or ranger checks at all time.otherwise shops are clean nice and tidy
Shocking! My wife parked her car in the car park to return to it with some one “keyed” her car. No security to be seen at the time anywhere and shop owners had no idea if security officers were even available. One shop owner confirmed that the same thing happened to them “car keyed” as well. We reported the incident to Centre management and their response was that they had no camera coverage where the vehicle was parked. Also, we reported that no security could be found at the time of the incident to no avail. I suggest shopping at Chester Hill or elsewhere considering that Bass Plaza doesn’t appear to have adequate security coverage and take no responsibility.
Quite a neat mall. Good butcher and fishmonger as well as ALDI.
There's also a good medical centre with friendly staff (Bass Hill Medical Centre) entrance is through sliding doors from the undercover parking.
It’s always extremely busy, car parks are near impossible to navigate and centre is constantly in a state of disrepair. The amount of people parking in disabled spots without passes is unbelievable, mainly because they don’t want their car to get scratched or they have 1924 kids to unload. They have removed places to sit down whilst waiting outside shops and have also taken out the staircase which is a very bid inconvenience. The bathrooms have been renovated and were nice for about a week before people decided to ruin them as per usual. Kmart is always a complete mess and never have any stock and Woolworths always has half their shelves empty. Out the front entry/exit doors people are spitting constantly, smoking and carrying on. Would not recommend the plaza to anybody at all unless they want to be transported to another country or the slums.
Parking can be a bit tricky depending what time you go. Aa good Deli, fish shop and nut shop as well as Woolies and Aldi. The butcher is halal so can't get pork products which is a bit disappointing and the bakery is very average. The shopping center is clean and well lit, and modern amenities.
Bass hill plaza has a variety of shops and there is front and back parking available. Commonwealth bank atm is at the right hand side of the entrance if you require one.
NSW in full lock down and the face mask compulsory indoor, but somehow lot of people in the Bass Hill Plaza do not wear the face mask. The management obviously doesn't care otherwise would address it.
Great variety of shops starting to emerge since the centre make over. Parking still not the greatest though.
Dont ever go to Woolies here.it takes longer to checkout than to do your shopping.can't afford staff at checkouts.bloody stingy and greedy Woolies.
During COVID lock down restrictions I’m amazed how many of the workers at bass hill plaza not wearing masks serving food and drinks.
Fairly standard small shopping plaza - some reasonably sized anchor stores, but not much in the way of variety. It's not a Westfield, so don't go in expecting a place to hang out for the day, but if you need groceries or a kmart run this place has you covered.
Some decent cafes and take aways, but would be nice to see a small food court here.
The worse parking exit.
If you park in the middle lane, you can't go out, you have to drive wrong to exit the parking.the arrow on the floor is confusing.the close the exit from the three lane and make one exit.it's not safe.
I think they need to fix the exit and make it safe.
Not as big as a Westfield but larger than a local shopping village. Kmart, Woolworths, Aldi, post office etc.
Difficult to find parking out front but plenty available on the rooftop.
