Bought multiple decks from here, staff are by far the friendliest you will find anywhere and have a solid understanding of their craft.

Dealt with the manager of the store, very Knowledgeable and spent an hour with me refurbishing an old board. Loving it and will definitely be back

We are from the UK and I took my 14 year old Nephew here as we were passing through.
We looked this place up and The guy was extremely helpful and chatty.
We got a great t-shirt, wax and logo stickers and transfers for his scooter aswell as recommending a great skate/scooter park in Coffs Harbour where we will be heading.

My 14 yo son took me there to buy a skateboard. Place was neat, the background music was nice, the man there was knowledgeable, friendly and very patient with my son. We bought a skateboard and shoes.

Basement Skate hands down has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a pair of shorts and on the outside tag said one size and on the inner tag said a smaller size (not there fault). Rang them up and they were very apologetic and no questions asked sent out a new pair of shorts the next day and paid for return postage for the wrong size shorts and even sent a few free goodies with the new shorts. This is how to run a successful business and to keep getting repeat customers. First time ordering from this store and it now won't be the last. Keep up the good work guys

Great range and service. Grace was super helpful to get some parts to convert my old board into a cruiser for commuting.

Somewhat wheelchair accessible (small lip at front door and tight space if other people there). Otherwise an awesome skate shop super helpful friendly staff!

Great service from Ryan and the team, a quick call to clarify what I was after and two days later it was at the door. Super speedy delivery, even with the bad weather in Sydney and the grip job was first rate.

This place was just THE BEST. We took our son there for a new set of wheels and the man who served us was exceptionally polite and inclusive. He explained everything clearly and in such a friendly way for us newbies. He even taught my son how to change the wheels at the same time and got him working and holding tools. I can say it was above and beyond my expectations and would recommend it to anyone at all, but especially folks who might not know what they're doing and are daunted. Hooray!

Basement Skate should do a masterclass for other retail stores about customer service. They know exactly how to do it - amazingly helpful, not pushy and a completely relaxed vibe when you walk into the store.

My teenage son is relatively new to the skateboarding world and as his mum I feel really heartened by how supportive and great everyone in the store has been in encouraging him and helping him get going.

It is also a store which looks fab and is a cool place to visit without feeling intimidating.
