Good place to understand about aviation, drone and have an opportunity on the flight simulator, as well as have a go flying for real! Friendly instructors are available to answer questions. It was very insightful to know that there's even certification courses in drone - Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) that can be offered to Year 10 kids onwards in coordination with the school!

Would highly recommend Basair as your starting point if you're considering a career in aviation. One of the longest running flight school operations in Bankstown Airport (locations also in Cessnock and Archerfield) which has translated into knowledge and expertise.

Basair has an extensive fleet of aircraft to tailor your training, coupled with state-of-the-art classroom facilities. The instructors are dedicated to instilling the highest level professionalism which will equip you for the journey that follows flight training.

I am a private flyer going through rpl and ppl afterwards. I have flown with other schools in Bankstown. None of them have ever had any structure you just flail around for a long time. Well Basair is unbelievable, structure, skilled instructors, great planes, great office, they really care and their standards are high. You are forced to learn immediately. Absolutely love it and recommend to anyone out there looking for a flying school or flailing about like I was.

I trained at Basair “Bankstown” in 2019 and 2020 finishing with a CPL/MECIR. I received training at the highest of standards with some of the most experienced instructors in GA. I couldn’t be more happier with my training. I look forward to looking for a job as Basair helps graduates with whatever they can to secure jobs within the industry, Highly recommend this school.

I started my aviation training with Basair Aviation College in 2013. During my time as a student I had great instructors who provided exceptional training throughout my time at Basair. All of the instructors and management are very professional and are always there when help is needed.
After my training I worked with Basair Avaition College as an instructor for 4 years. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. Basair gave me the experience required to become a First Officer for SkyWest Airlines in the United States. I highly recommend Basair Aviation College for anyone pursuing a career in Aviation.

I started training with Basair feb 2007. I finished my course in a year and got offered a job as flight instructor. I worked in basair for over three years then moved on to bigger aircrafts. Basair set up my Aviation career.

A good flight school provides all the necessary resources and guidance needed to achieve your goals. The rest is up to the candidate. Basair is no different. A good student willing to put in the hard work with a good attitude can achieve a lot with Basair. I learnt a lot from senior instructors like Ed Smith and Mark Rowell, they have a wealth of knowledge and can learn a lot by spending some time with them.

I still remembers Marks 6’Ps.he explained it on my first day at Basair (feb 5th 2007). I still say it to myself before every line check or simulator ride.

Basair is a great company. The instructors always make time to help, and management will guide the students to make the right decisions during their training course.

I trained with Basair’s Part Time flying school, before transitioning to Basair. Management made this transition simple and quick. I was then employed by Basair as an instructor for a few years before moving to the USA to become a First Officer with SkyWest Airlines.

I started my aviation journey as an international student with Basair in 2008. As this was my very first time living overseas, Basair staff and management were not only warm and welcoming but the instructors were professional and dedicated to my training and I am the pilot I am today because of them. The training I got at Basair was not only good but was enjoyable. Some of my best flying experiences was when I was a student as I got to fly a variety of planes and fly to different places.
After my training, Basair had noticed my potential and sponsored me as a flight instructor where I was able to build my experience as a professional pilot. Without Basair I would not have been able to have the experience that I have today. With this experience I was able to get my first jet job as a first officer on a Canadian regional jet with Skywest Airlines In America.
I believe that people make a company and Basair has the best team of not only dedicated instructors but management and this is why I highly recommend Basair aviation College, if you are interested in perusing a career in aviation.

I trained at Basair in 2006 and also worked as an instructor after I completed my training. My time with the company provided me with a solid foundation to prepare me for the rest of my career. I received training at a very high standard and still draw upon the skills I learnt, now as pilot for the Qantas Group.

I Trained with Hunter Valley Aviation (Basair Cessnock Campus) in 2007, and went on to complete my IFR and Instructor rating, eventually working as an instructor at the Cessnock and Bankstown campuses for several years. I am now flying around Asia with a Qantas Group airline as a Captain of an Airbus A320 aircraft. I believe the cornerstone to success in any industry is a solid education, and after being both a student and instructor with Basair, I can’t recommend them enough to provide you with this.

I worked with Basair as an instructor for 6 years. During that time, I found myself working within a highly dedicated team of professional pilots who provided first class training for the students. The skills and experience passed on to these student pilots through Basair's syllabus has provided a solid foundation for many commercial pilots starting off in their flying career.

On occasion, I also found myself as a student at Basair furthering my own professional qualifications and continue to use many of these skills in my role as an airline pilot. Anybody who is looking at starting out in flight training or upgrading their flying qualifications should consider Basairs excellent offering of courses.

Started at Basair as a student in 2008 whilst I was at high school. After completing my aviation studies, I was fortunate enough to have been employed by Basair Aviation College in 2013. I worked at Basair for almost four years. Basairs' high standard gave me a solid foundation in my aviation career and in 2017 I was employed as a Boeing 787 Second Officer with Qantas. Highly recommend the College!

Basair is one of the best flight training school with high standard and professionalism. I completed my MECIR and Flight Instructor Rating in Archerfield campus and now I am working as a professional Grade 3 Flight Instructor in Australia. I highly recommend this school.
