Fantastic meals, both visually and tastefully. Friendly service from waiting staff. Been here three time and always leave happy and satisfied. 10/10

Horrible customer service, I attended this restaurant in order to eat, they had plenty of space inside, but they refused to give us claiming there were people on waiting list, which latter he admitted there weren't anyone waiting. He wanted us to sit on high table outside under direct sunlight with no shade, and we an 8 year child with us which we couldn't take. I latter came again to buy takeaway coffee because they didn't let us in, they still refuse to give us. I just thought they have the worst service. I will never come to this place and see their faces again.

After a hike to the nearby lighthouse, we enjoyed lunch here. The staff was wonderful and attentive. The food was mind-blowing delicious and the atmosphere is really relaxing.

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The waiters largely ignored us, and the revelation of a tipping option during payment was off-putting. Despite the appealing beachside location, the mediocre food didn't justify the high prices.

Amazing food and service. We stopped by for our after elopement dinner. We were late an hour, but they still served us and everything was just perfect. Thanks so much!

Had a spectacular night @Barrenjoey House. To begin with the space is so beautiful with a truly relaxed and welcoming vibe.

We experienced amazing service from the team working on Friday night. Young, vibrant, knowledgeable and intent on making our night a great one.

Food was sensational! From entrees that we shared, to a wide choice of main courses. My lamb backstrap with crumbled macadamia was out of this world.

We were celebrating a birthday and were surprised with the team singing happy birthday and a birthday bombe Alaska complete with birthday flare

The night ended perfectly with a final glass of wine in the comfortable lounge and arm chairs centrally positioned.

A lovely way to celebrate but don’t just visit on special occassions, Barrenjoey House is a true delight any time!

I stayed with my wife for our wedding anniversary last night and from the moment we arrived the feeling was warm, homely and welcoming. We had a lovely late lunch on the upstairs terrace and then checked into room 3 which was comfortable and had beautiful views across to the bay. Dinner was three courses and the steak was cooked perfectly, and I mean perfectly.

A special shout out to Alex who greeted us at multiple stages of our stay and made the most amazing dirty martinis and Cocktails. It’s the little details that make this place so special and Alex’s warmth and welcoming nature will have us booking and staying again in the future.

We had a large group booking (10 people) for my mum’s 80th. The set menu is MORE than generous and it had an excellent range of options for the main course. Staff were thoughtful and considerate and made our lunch even more lovely. Highly recommend.

Always worth a visit during a trip up to the end of the road out of Sydney. Perfect place for a spot of lunch. Great selection of seafood inspired dishes including the best Crab Toast around. Parking on the street or the council car park across the road.

We took our son and his family out for his 40th birthday. Everything about the evening was wonderful - the atmosphere, the food and our waitress who was so accommodating of our 4 grandchildren. Then, at the end of the evening, after waving goodbye, we climbed the stairs to bed. Yes - you can stay at Barrenjoey House. Overall - an experience to be repeated!

Unfortunately our waiter succeeded in spoiling a potentially good experience. We popped in for a drink and pizza after a day at the beach. The place was relatively quiet and the tone changed the moment he realized we weren’t there for a five course meal. From a menu chucked across the table, disgruntled mumbling and a spilt beer (unapologetically) I sincerely hope this waiter realizes that his shocking customer service is damaging the reputation of what otherwise appears to be a good establishment.

Been to this establishment a couple of times now and the food is always on par. Perfect spot near the beach too and parking is easy! Highly recommend

Thank you Barrenjoey house for being so friendly and accommodating for our hens lunch! We had the group menu which was so much food and such great quality. Our waitress was fantastic and just overall a great vibe! Would definitely recommend for group bookings.
We also had one person with a severe nut allergy- the kitchen and staff went above and beyond to accommodate. Thanks!

Absolutely spotless service with food to match. Group event and I've never seen the level of catering anywhere else matched with friendly, warm exceptional service. We'll be back to stay

I was looking for a nice place to take my partner for a special occasion and booked a table for two by the window. After my reservation was taken I asked about the accommodation but found it was all booked.
Once we arrived and attended reception the waiter informed us we did not have a reservation.
I was in shock and
embarrassed as it was a suprise dinner for my partner.
He showed us a table we could have and it needed to be set. I asked if we could have the other one by the window and he said sorry thats a table for three people being same size and just having one exrta chair but was not reserved.
He sat us down offerd and offerd water. Came back with water and sat there for 10 minutes waiting for a menue and service. We lost patience and left.
For the prices charged the service does not match, to bright and no Atmosphere I would never go there again or recommend anybody to go there for dinner.

Enjoyed our experience at Barrenjoey House very much. High attention to detail with food presentation and flavours. Great service. Unbeatable location. Can’t wait to come back!

The pasta dish I had there was the smallest most insignificant dish I've ever eaten. I could literally have put the whole thing in my mouth in one go. So small and for $34 or so I felt ripped off big time. Tuna and pasta dish.avoid if you want better value.
