The new ham and egg bagel is a burst of flavours. Fresh crispy taste of lettuce and red onions and a zingy sauce is divine. The bagel is seeded and toasted. You must try it

This place has great coffee and the bagels are outstanding. This morning I waited for an excessively long time for a small long black. Pretty straight forward and it was not busy, a steady stream of takeaway but not crazy.

It's really disappointing, I'd like to keep coming back but not if it takes this long.

My favourite coffee in the area and there's a lot of roasters and cafes around here. Simple, but well done menu.
I love a strong coffee and they do it so well, never burnt or bitter.

The bagels are so delicious with a generous amount of toppings.

Because it's so good, it can be busy on Saturdays, but well worth the wait just plan accordingly.

It’s a shame how kids taking orders in the Northern Beaches can have such an attitude when just spitting out a few words. Just look people in the eye when they order and don’t cal me brother.

Barrel One is my favourite coffee of all time! We love our weekend breakys and always have the beans at home for coffee during the working day

This place is great, but I can’t agree with charging almost a 50% mark up for adding ice to a coffee.

Staff are always lovely, food and drinks are incredible too. Ambience and vibes are a bonus!

It is located on the side of the road. The branch is easy to miss as it looks like an entrance to a car garage. Parking is not easy as there are no parking lots around. But, the streets have parking on the sides so during non-peak hours there should be spots. Seating is available inside for more than thirty people and outside for around ten people.
Staff are friendly and service is quite fast. The coffee here is really good and is in the list of best coffees in Sydney.

Really good cafe with delicious bagels, drinks and a good atmosphere. Except one day i waited more than an hour for just cheese in bread which i think was too salty.

After having the best coffee in Melbourne we looked everywhere for an equivalent experience in Sydney. We tried many cafes and Barrel One is the only one that hits the mark

If you are hungry, the bagels have an amazing blend of flavours. The Reuben is a fan favourite (pictured).

Really enjoy lounging around drinking coffee and lite bites. The only small gripe I (sometimes) have is the music.
I’m pretty liberal but (some) of the rap music is filled with swearing and quite unpleasant lyrics, nothing really offends me but seems a bit ordinary considering young kids and babies are often there.

A Perfect coffee.the classic Bagel is fresh masterpiece & the Italian BMT is packed full of flavour.

If you like good coffee you must go to barrel one, this one is probably my favourite out of the 3 that I've been. Awesome coffee, yummy bagels and great atmosphere

Can be difficult to get a parking spot out front and on weekends expect to wait in line but I guess that just shows how good their coffee and food is!

The food is delectable, with this New Yorkian flare that seems like a cross between Jewish and Italian.

The coffee is first class and the facilities classy whilst remaining laid back.

The staff are polite and helpful.

Highly recommend.
