A small cafe offering amazing tea and bagel. My first time in Oz to meet someone in a cafe knowing green tea only need about 90•c to brew. The savory bagel was fantastic and with beef and sauerkraut. Definitely will revisit here if coming to Byron Bay again.

I expected the cold brew coffee to be better based on all the good reviews but it was pretty hard to drink. Not the worst I’ve ever had but just not really smooth, quite bitter. The food wasn’t bad either but not a place I’d revisit. Sorry: (

Best coffee in Byron by a long way. I used to be an Allpress guy for home beans and coffee out but after finding Barefoot Im all in. I can highly recommend the Dark Star for home coffee

The coffee here is amazing! Went to enough local shop yesterday and this place is way better. Coffee is amazing and people where awesome

Amazing coffee - we were visiting Byron and bought a bag to take home! Plus the bagels were delicious and a nice snack to have with the coffee.

Tried both of their espresso roasts today, both are excellent. This is world class coffee in a hole in the wall cafe in Byron

‘Notes of hazelnut’ is written under a description for one of their blends. Informed them of my nut allergy and asked if the coffee had any real nuts. After an awkward pause I was replied with “have you ever had a coffee with nuts in it? I just find that’s a weird question. ”

Please learn how to respond better to customers’ questions. Made for a belittling experience.
