Bar Reggio

We had dinner tonight, food was amazing as always and service was great in general. But I found that one of staff was very rude to especially us. He kept trying to collect plates from our table even though there was food left without asking us and I thought he was new staff and didnt know how to do proper service but he asked other tables if they finished their plates before he collected more than 3-4 times. It clearly showed that he was literally doing on his purpose. Especially we said could we please keep this plate as there are food left when he collected one of our plates, how he looked at us was terrifying and he even didnt say anything back and tried to take that dish anyway. I have been enjoying this venue for more than 4 years with no disappointment but this time I felt like discrimination and uncomfortable from his behavior. Please don’t get me wrong this venue is amazing with amazing service in general but just aware that you might feel the same discriminated feelings from that staff if you are not caucasian customers. Sadly I don’t want to go back again

Came as my mother in law booked as she lives in Bondi and can’t recommend enough. Table of 7 for my son’s birthday. We got seated outside, and it was so lovely the setting. Very lovely place for Italian with very affordable prices for dishes but above all the meals were delicious. Food came out hot and tasty and I couldn’t fault it. Well the birthday boys meal came a few mins later but even so he loved his home made lasagna. We got various dishes to try but I feel like the marinara linguine and pesto pasta was yum! The veal was great according to my mother in law and the pizzas were enjoyed by all. It was such a nice time and I’m really happy with the whole experience. I could definitely come back in a heart beat. BYO also worked for us. It was such a lovely birthday dinner and my son was happy and that’s what matters.

I ordered the spaghetti marinara and steak with veg take away. The seafood marina tasted great with a delicious sauce but the spaghetti was a little over cooked. The seafood was calamari and prawns. The steak was super tender but the veg was just boiled Carrot and broccoli which tasted boring.

Pizza here was not as good as expected. Maybe it's because the review here set my expectation level very high. Also the cashier was not very friendly. We missed the sign to wait outside to be seated. When we got in we ask her if there's any seat available but the only thing she did was keep pointing outside without saying anything, which is confusing.

We had $45 per person all you can eat option for a group of 20.
When you add the value of the food served up to us, it should have costed around $25
The food was okay not over the top.

Solid Italian venue with some really tasty food.

Staff were very friendly and had a passion for their food - would visit again.

We got the $35pp set menu; would recommend avoiding the set menu unless you’ve got a pretty massive appetite as you’ll get better value for money without it. It’s hard not to get filled up on the earlier courses - didn’t end up with much room for the pizza.

Gets very noisy in the back section - it was hard to talk to the person next to you and we were all 20-30 year olds.

The best Italian in Australia! My favourites are the cotoleta milanesa and the whole snapper. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Love it!

First time in this place. Delicious Pizzas! Waiter was friendly. Unfortunately we were sitting next to a very noisy group but we still had a great time!

Great food for such a great price.service was 10/10 amazing, visited for my birthday and left feeling very special. Thank you! Will definitely be back.

OMG, what woeful, non-existent, customer service!
My family and I stood at the doorway, where the sign asked us to wait, for a good 6-8 minutes, waiting to ask a staff member if they had a table.
5-6 staff members noticed us and TOTALLY ignored us.
So, we walked away and a great Pizza somewhere else, with fantastic customer service. Will never go there again.

Had a lovely coffee here. I am impressed with the staff, they were very accommodating despite my small order. The place was packed at 4pm, so they must be doing something well. Can't wait to come and visit for food as well.

Go to place for a casual long lunch. Authentic Italian food. Great ambiance and welcoming staff, efficient service. Hugh menu with lots of options. BYO service is also great.

Haven't been here for years, thought we would give it a try away from our other fav Italian food in Sydney, when the steak came out I had to take a second look as it was covered in sauce actually looked like a swirl of gastric and the pizza base was undercooked I wanted to take it back but decided to write the feedback, personally not sure what all the fuss is about this place, service was okay but felt very rushed

Think I will stick to my other Italian outlets

The food was cold and bland just like their personalities and service. Nothing’s seasoned. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Literally one job.

Awesome staff, once they worked out what booking was ours. Great recommendations and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive, bringing extra ice for our BYO wines. Would definitely recommend.

I frequently come here because their foods are very good and reasonable price but whenever i visit here they always sat me in the corner by the window.even when i had booked and there were plenty of empty seats. I felt kinda racism

Awesome venue. Great value for money food. BYO, reasonable corkage. Great venue for groups, singles and everything in between. Love this place.

One of my goals this year is to try more Italian cuisine. And this place does not disappoint- ambiance, food and service, it was on point!

Always a delight to dine here, I am happy to queue and endure the noise and the tight seating, because the food is simply delicious! The pizza crust is ever thin and crispy, my Linguine Putanesca is always consistently satisfyingly yummy!

Lovely Italian restaurant that I've been going to with my family since I was young. Recently had a small 18th birthday dinner here with my friends and staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional, everyone enjoyed it, and overall it was excellent value for the price! I had a delicious crab bowtie pasta and I still think about how great it was. I would definitely recommend Bar Reggio to everyone I know.
