The public toilets have a nice clean free shower! Was about to 5 ️ and then there was no toilet paper in the cubicle

A delightful cafe nestled in the Information Centre area. Friendly, welcoming staff, great service and breakfast was freshly cooked, locally sourced and very tasty. And no, I didn't Photoshop the colour of the eggs.they were yellow as.

It's a terrific spot to stop.visitors centre full of information, locally made gifts and super friendly staff.
Toilets are available and also shower facilities
There is plenty of parking, especially for big rigs.
A nice little cafe is also there

Balranald has a good thing going with this hub including the information centre (kudos below), washrooms with showers, a café, the discovery centre with displays, and their gaol museum. It's all fresh and clean (except the ancient gaol, for obvious reasons).

The quality of tourist information we received far exceeded our expectations including road orientation, thoughtful advice on places to visit and other local tips as far west as Hay. Bravo!

Our highlight was our visit to the Yanga Homestead. We rented the audio guides at the information centre along with a key to enter the buildings. This visit plus a stop at the Yanga shearing shed made for an excellent half day.

Couldn’t rate this place more highly - delicious cafe (steak sandwich was outstanding), very clean restrooms, and a welcoming info centre well stocked with tourism brochures - don’t drive past!

Thank you for this absolutely amazing, free camping place you have at the centre! The showers are clean and nice, just perfect for low-budget trips like we had. Highly recommended.

How good is this place? ! Hot showers and nice place aside, got to speak to a local working at the men’s shed, so friendly and had a few stories to tell if you get a chance to bump into him. Didn’t get his name unfortunately, if anyone knows send me a reply:)
Definitely drop by and don’t forget the donation box to help keep this place up. Will def be back here

The best hot shower you've ever had. Pristine facilities with piping hot water, you'll be tempted to throw a pineapple in the donations box that's how welcomed these facilities are.

Pop down the road to the bakery in the morning for fantastic rolls and a well made coffee. Balranald absolutely pulling out all the stops for us travellers.

Yamba NP down the rd provides great camping opportunities, just be careful if it's hot can be pretty exposed out there, but whoever takes care of those campgrounds deserves a gold medal, never used a cleaner drop toilet. Fantastic sunset and sunrise, this little town does not disappoint. Thank you Balranald

Stayed at the 24 hour free RV park behind the information centre and was pleasantly surprised by the range of facilities available at this location.

The RV park is a flat, bitumen area for 15 or so vehicles with potable water, bins, toilets and showers. The information centre has free WiFi and plenty of brochures on the local area with helpful and knowledgeable staff.

There is also an old gaol and schoolhouse, an interactive display and museum all managed and available for access via the info centre.

A very good facility but there's a great number of local people who come to this place each day to use the toilet and shower that is provided by council for travelers.
Disgraceful behavior by local bludgers.
By your own toilet paper.
SCABS.
