Bailey Nelson Optometrist - Paddington

Friendly and well organised team. Was going to the city store but find this team much nicer and more helpful

I have an issue with my prescription sunglasses whereby the lenses are bubbling and the surface is cracking and I was advised this was due to excessive sunlight.

When I took them instore they advised they would not be covered by warranty.

These should be covered by statuatory warranty as sunglasses should be able to withstand the heat of the sun!

Furthermore I have been a loyal customer to Bailey Nelson, having purchased 5 x pairs of sunglasses and multiple eye tests

It is a pleasure to walk into the store, the people are wonderful. The optometrist was incredibly knowledgeable and funny, and warm. I had lots of help selecting my new face, and there was no pressure. Just a fab experience from start to finish! 10/10 recommend

I normally go to bondi beach but as my daughter had gone there for her first glasses and was having problems i went there with her. I had 2 frames put aside and they lost them. From the call to book the appointment with Matthew to the eye test it was a heavy sales pitch. The frames for prescription glasses they said they would put aside for me they lost and i was told i would have to go in again to pick frames. No good results for my daughter. I would not recommend any one go there. One star is too high rated. If I could give them a minus star, i would.

I have been here twice now and on both occasions the same top tier service. Both ladys i have dealt with (Sorry i forgot your names) have been so kind and informative also mentioning all the staff are happy and smiling. Love to see it. Thanks guys keep up the great work.

I can only give 4 stars as I am yet to receive my prescription. I can’t fault the service so far.

I love Bailey Nelson so I’m not happy to write this but my recent experience with contact lens purchasing has been nothing but atrocious. Continued supply chain issues - despite ordering my lenses 1.5 months ago they have still not arrived. My right eye has appeared but the left eye is no where to be seen. I rang to chase what was going on and the update was we will give you an update when they arrive - not good enough! I am out of lenses in matter of days despite my foresight to order in advance. I had to request that they chase this down and give me a proper update. Considering changing opticians after being a loyal customer for years.
Note update to review. It was 1 star but have increased to 3 - manager rang and apologised, contacts came into day miraculously. They have apologised and offered the next set of contacts free.

Could not have been more happy
with my recent eye test at BN Paddington. The staff were friendly
and accommodating and had great banter. Mikki, my optometrist, was extremely helpful and explained everything very clearly ensuring that all my concerns were addressed. I received some great style advice and ended up ordering two pairs of glasses that I can’t wait to pick up. The entire interaction felt relaxed and didn’t feel like a chore at all; I was just shopping with some friends.

The booking process was very easy. The Optometrist was very thorough and made the whole process very easy. Really good experience.

The Optometrist was fun, friendly and informative offering me several options to assist my vision and comfort. Selecting the glasses was great fun with the spec professional. The deal that was on was super and I managed to have a full eye exam and gain 2 sets of glasses for a great price. Impressive!

Lynn Lee is the most caring, knowledgeable and friendly optometrist I had an eye examination with. Looking forward to doing it again in two years time.

I have to return to the shop every couple of weeks for the same repair. Four times now. Very unsatisfactory

The staff are great and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. The range of frames is good with great designs to choose from. The lens are great. And all up, everything was about 50% of the price I normally pay.
