A last refuge in a world where religion has been reduced to a set of customs and rituals. This house of worship is for prayer and prayer alone. No speeches, no light shows. Just communion with God. Incredibly refreshing

Worth visiting. Guides are always helpful.
You can visit it on 22 March each year to celebrate Persian new year there.

Fantastic place, a place to go and say prayers for whatever reason and from whatever religion belief or lack of. Open to all and welcoming to all from all religions or without.

A quiet spot for whatever of these you want to do: think, pray, read, or sightsee. It's like a spot in a dream, a quiet white temple glowing in the sun amung the green.

Everyone is welcome; free of charge; serene environment; no sermons or collection at services, only readings from holy texts of all major religions and a choir

A nice place to visit. Very peaceful and accessible easily off Mona Vale road. Plenty of parking and a nice community who attend the temple. Have a seat in the grounds or the garden seats to enjoy the sun or sit and reflect in the temple. A nice bookstore on-site as well.

Simply the most amazing, tranquil place in Northern Beaches. Ideal for prayer and meditation. Baha'i service every Sunday at 11 am.

The temple is secluded from society. It’s peaceful, quite and well kept. The masses on Sundays are amazing. Definitely something to check out.

Saw the temple dome above the trees and stopped to check in and find out a little more. Lovely grounds and a beautiful serene building with 9 sides and a simple yet lovely interior where one can pray, meditate and reflect, no matter your belief or religious stance. There is a public service each Sunday at 11am. Our visit was quick and we were welcomed with grace and courtesy, and not compelled to listen to dogma or details about the founding of the temple. We sat quietly inside, walked around respectfully outside and left. If you have questions however, there are one or two people happy to help.

An iconic piece of architecture on the east coast of Australia. Almost immaculate in its presentation. Glimpses from afar are rare and driving past and missing this building is easy, so Dont! Take the time to marvel at it from both outside and inside.

Lovely grounds picnic area but I must say the Temple is absolutely gorgeous.

Construction of the temple started in April 1957 using construction techniques never before used in Australia.
Architect John Brogan (Sydney) with builders "Welch Brothers" were responsible for the unique building.

In the dome inside the temple is a plate with the inscription" O Glory of the All Glorious". Construction was completed in 1961.

The temple stands about 40 metres high with 9 side's and 9 entrances and it sits on approximately 9 hectares of bushland.

The Baha'i temple is a haven of spiritual serenity and it is one of eight Baha'i temples around the world.

We were privileged to attend the public worship at 11am. This is a wonderful asset to Sydney and a central place for prayer and meditation no matter what religion.

A fascinating place to visit. Staff are helpful, explaining the religion, and showing us the building and grounds. Don't just drive past - pop in and enjoy this unique building.

For peaceful meditation and prayer why don't you visit the Bahai House of Worship. Open to everyone, every day of the week, in the splendid Australian countryside, it's a haven of peace and tranquillity. With only nature around you and singing of birds no better place to relax and destress.
