Back O' Bourke Gallery

Was driving in with a work crew of mine and was keen to check out the Gallery, the bloke at the front counter made a comment as I was about to grab tickets saying “people say I’m racist for not talking to Aboriginals, but I’m talking to one now”… referring to me and that comment made me really uncomfortable so I just grabbed my crew and we left.

This artist makes her pastels look loke oil painting excellent work highly recomended. Leasant happy informative artist in charge

Well worth a visit, painting & prints all by local artist, depicting the surroundings of Bourke, the Darling River & outback areas.

It was a beautiful display of the history there. Was very impressed, unfortunately we did not have enough time to read it all.

Fantastic. Apart from her wonderful art work Jenny was very active in prompting the must see places as we travel down The Darling.

Jenny was outstanding in her passion for the area. We were encouraged to revisit Bourke by the staff at the Back of Bourke information centre, but Jenny convinced us to return. As a result we have changed our itinerary for this trip and are returning to Bourke for a week or two.
