Our team has worked on many Avenue One projects and have found Tom and his team very easy to deal with. We have done quite a few jobs with Toby over the years and have found him very good. Their designs are excellent, their communication top notch, and they really love what they do. No hesitation in recommending them.

I worked closely with the Avenue One team on my new build. This project was a number of years in the making and my wife and myself were quit apprehensive about the process. We met with the team for an initial meeting where they went through the entire process, this gave us a high level of comfort as they managed the entire process for us!

We both work long hours so having Avenue One look after the project meant we didn't have to stress too much about the finer details.

Thought the business would be great based on reviews however to my disappointment we were misled and manipulated on our project. Lack of communication on their behalf had caused months in delays. Whenever we asked for progress updates there was always an excuse and no straight answer. If you want to build your dream home, consider someone else who would care more about your home rather than a quick buck. I wish I could say it was not but unfortunately this was my experience.

My husband and I were apprehensive to embark on our knock down rebuild. We didn’t know where to start until we found Urban and Co. They made the process extremely clear and simple for us by guiding us through the entire project from start to finish. This was particularly useful to us as not only did we achieve our dream home through their design ability, we also had someone in the know ensuring we were getting the most out of our block and found us the best builder for our property, all whilst making sure everything went to plan. Urban & Co destroyed our chance to complete a minor renovation on our home and cost us dearly in time and money. Tom Ellwood appeared very confident and professional at first. He failed to meet an agreed timeline, but was was reassuring and polite. I became concerned when he attempted to elicit payment before showing any evidence of work. A development application was eventually submitted to council but failed to be approved. When it came time to negotiate alterations with council, he refused to attend the planning meeting or send anyone in his place, citing "important business" overseas. He became increasingly abrupt when pressured for advice, and eventually stopped responding to emails. When contacted by council officers directly, Urban & Co claimed no knowledge and referred them back to me. Tom Ellwood proved a very expensive lesson in trust. He promised professional commitment, took the last of our planning budget and abandoned us when we needed his services the most.
