Auvers Cafe - Darling Square reviews
74Love. Love. LOVE THIS PLACE. Amazing food, excellent service and staff. Been here plenty of times. Will always recommend risotto (as I'm a sucker for risotto)!
Smash avo + cap regular operation
Went to the Darling Square store
The cup has a sense of design
But it’s really hot to hold the cup without a handle and drink 55° milk coffee⋯
Taste normal
The portion size of smash avo is still so big that I can’t finish it QAQ
I feel like there are more Korean employees at the Rhodes store.
Service awareness⋯
Probably because I only ordered one cup of coffee and the unit price was not high, I specifically emphasized to me that there are meal time restrictions =. =
Nestled in Darling Square, this restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere, bustling with people. Afternoons here bring the added delight of happy hour for liquor enthusiasts. Picture yourself seated with friends under the shade, sipping a refreshing cold alcoholic beverage alongside delectable side dishes – a perfect way to savor a summer afternoon. Don't miss out on the Sydney rock oysters, served with red onion and vinegar, a delightful accompaniment to the equally satisfying chips.
The food was good, the restaurant itself was nicely constructed and decorated. The view was definitely nice to have a meal plus it was in the middle the city which made things very accessible.
I don't know what to say
I just can't explain how I loved there amazing foods and yeah just go and try it.so you will see what am trying to say
Went there with a first table booking.
All dishes were very nice.the seafood was the stand out, very fresh and perfectly cooked. I did find the white fungus a little weird for the pasta dish.i did wish the salted duck egg calamari had more salted duck egg.
The food was absolutely amazing and the presentation I think I’ve never seen plates so beautiful like the ones that we ordered. Definitely coming back!

Visited Auvers for an early dinner. Chose the outdoor seating as it is quite pleasant in Darling Square. They have a nice selection of modern Asian fusion food and a good selection of cocktails.
Chose the kingfish starter, XO seafood pasta and Wagyu beef noodles. Both mains were a hit - strong flavours and unique presentation.
The service in the night was also excellent and we always felt looked after. We have been back a few times since and have tried their brunch menu as well.
Definitely worth a visit!
Nice lunch spot for the weekend, lovely staffs and what a cool lunch i picked mushrooms risotto! And gotta try their taro latte and pancake. Not a big fans for the matcha but kinda enjoy the pancake as the ice cream and berries balancing the matcha. Hopefully can add more desert selections for kiddos
Fantastic place - had a wonderful dinner with my family there.the food was beautifully presented, well timed and tasted the part, the service was amazing, and the venue is really nice with a relaxed vibe. Would highly recommend it!
Good sauce and porkbelly was perfect
But taro french toast bread texture is not soft. I think egg is not enough
But almost sauce and looks nice
Favourite brunch spot of all time. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. This is the very very few brunch places where the price of the food measures up to the taste and aesthetics. Presentation is always on point and I love the Asian fusion flavours. Vibe is also great for friend meet ups or dates. Dinner here is also pretty good.
Highly recommend!
A great dining experience. We ordered the octopus okonomiyaki and the wagyu noodle. The wagyu noodle is good for a $36 meal (pretty expensive). The octopus okonomiyaki is the food that i would order again whenever I’m back at the cafe.
Eatclub has the fooddollar promotion where you pay $20 and you receive $40. Not bad
BEST WATERMELON SALMON SALAD EVER please open one in Melbourne!
I was in Sydney for 3 days and came twice because it was so good
Used to be my favourite cafe in the CBD cause of the menu and open on the weekend. Went there few days ago and the service standards dropped so much. Couldn’t believe have to ask for coffee three times and waited for more than one hour (yes they gave us the coffee for free but I rather have them earlier). One of the guy was really rude and seems very annoyed by all of the people who are dining there. When he put down a coffee he asked Normal coffee? ! I have never heard anyone working in a cafe use that term.
Auvers appears to be a fine dining restaurant however I did not receive such an experience or service.
I was very much looking forward to enjoying a nice meal outside in the beautiful summer weather. I was looking forward to enjoying my meal slowly with a few glasses of wine.
I dined alone and ordered 2 entrees and one main. All meals came out at exactly the same time, which is really quite nonsensical. An entree is supposed to come out before the main. Given I was there alone, 3 meals at once was extra bizarre. When raising this with the staff member she had no resolutions and just said sorry. I asked to cancel my second entree as the main and first entree had just arrived together and she came back a moment later with the third meal and again just apologised. I understand these things happen, but I wouldn’t never have even ordered entrees if they were all going to come out at once. Had the meals come out staggered I would have had time to enjoy a glass of wine or 2 more.
The food was just okay. The scallops were average. The octopus was okay, however it was really overshadowed by the stuff on top. The duck was the only redeeming quality, it was quite nice.
The overall dining experience and food was not at all what I thought it would be.
Absolutely great place. Had a large number and they were very accommodating. Food was great and coffee was excellent. Would 100% go back
Friendly service and nice outdoor shaded area to dine. Matcha pancake was pretty good! It was quite filling and not the fluffy kind. Not overly sweet as I expected it could’ve been. Loved the ambiance!
Everything was done well, the service the food and the atmosphere are top notch. Great team of people doing so well. The food I personally ordered were delicious filled with flavor and love.
