Automic Registry Services (now part of Automic Group) reviews
17 If I could give zero stars I would. Still waiting a refund from an IPO.
Got told it would be in my account in 3 days.yeah right
They never answer the phone and rarely answer emails
Unprofessional company. We purchased shares in an upcoming IPO. The company ended up not being listed. After 4 months I got in contact with Automic about the refund. They said the refunds had taken place months earlier but we had not received a refund because there were no bank details recorded for us. They did however have our emails and phone numbers but failed to make any sort of contact. After speaking to support they updated our banking details and a month later we are still waiting for a refund. I contacted support again and I was told that the payment is in the queue but no payment date can be given.
Miguel was very helpful when I rang for assistance today. He paid close attention to everything I said and will pass on to their IT Dept my suggestion for Automic to provide an easy to download, end of year Dividend & Tax Report for investors. Usually, I find dealing with 5 different share registries a frustrating experience. So I was pleasantly surprised by Miguel's excellent service.
Straight forward platform, knowledgeable support staff and an easy experience when consolidating accounts. Company should have a higher rating than the current average as they are better than some of the other share registries.
Really easy to use website with excellent tools to make it simple to apply instructions to multiple holdings. Introduced MFA which was incredibly quick to set up. Great work folks. Thank you.
Worst registry in Australia - it provides no contact email address and its website contact page provides no phone number or contact form. When it sends a noreply email notifying of a security statement it says to find it on one's account under "Documents and Statements", but no such section exists in its menu.
Absolutely Amazing.
I got the same lady there for two or three different inquiries.she was patient helpful polite non hurried.just unbelievably helpful and informative.non rushed
Had need to ring today got Mathew.again polite courteous.informative about how Options can be issued differently.how different companies list and settle their options.
Can not fault this Registry in any way
But indeed Review them extremely well for their easy going Professional help guidance education even to a degree and awareness to Investors.
Terrible experience! Automic Group owe me money for Plenti shares that been sold under small shares parcel facility. It’s been 7 weeks since the transaction. Whenever I speak with their employees - they do confirm that the payment will be done within 2 weeks (lie) which is their normal payment cycle. Funny enough that they never can confirm the exact day of the next batch payment. And after 7 weeks I’m still waiting. Any ideas on how to get them to return my money?
Stay clear. Made a mistake with my shareholding instructions. "Somebody in our mailroom". Got an apology but no fix. Incompetent. No stars.
If I could give zero stars I would. Still waiting a refund from an IPO.
Got told it would be in my account in 3 days.yeah right
They never answer the phone and rarely answer emails and when they do, it is lies.
This has to be the worst service I have experienced with company dealing in customers money and taking no care or ownership or responsibility of their incompetent service and respect for their customers.
Automic should be reported to ACCC and action should be taken?
This company is an absolute rip-off. $100 just to sell your shares (under $10k). CommSec will do it for $27. Then if you want to sell your shares that day, it’s another $100 on top with ‘One-Off Trades’, otherwise they process it in two business days.
You try to call them and you sit on hold for 30min and give up before you reach anyone.
Avoid at all costs - this business is a rip-off.
Unprofessional and untrustworthy. After registering a new share holding with Automic, I received several emails from Automic purporting confirmation of not just one, but “my” holdings in several companies for whom Automic apparently act. As I’d never owned shares in three of the companies, and no longer own shares in two others they “confirmed”, alarm bells started ringing. I wrote to the company seeking assurance that their system and/or my details had not been compromised. After three weeks, I’ve still received no reply from Automic.
Having only ever experienced highly professional service from the two largest Share Registry companies in the market, I’m still left wondering if my details are safe with Automic, and how they are able to remain in business.
Unfortunately Automic seems to issue shares from IPOs to their friends (i.e. Not retail investors) and Automic have no transparent procedures in place. I do not recommend to apply with IPOs through them as you only place money with them for their own benefits, not yours. Very disappointing behaviour of a company or their clients. My opinion is based on my personal experience with them.
Worst registry. Make you wait on the line forever. Playing the recorded message continuously annoying you. Very cheap registry.
I have purchased BPP 10+ years ago for almost $2000. Today it is $2.70 for my 150 BPP shares.
The Automic goup did not read or did not received my response that i want to keep it and they sold it for nothing. They did not confirmed, they did not called, emailed or any how contacted me.they sent money to non existing account which probable was mine ages ago. No transaction, no 150 shares of BPP. One word - thief. I contacted BPP, Automic and even CC email to director. No response. I hope my story will help to avoid this business at all costs
Hi Generally do Ipo with Automic. And has done 4 times in our family. All the time money is refunded even I fill up the ipo on very first day. I have done IPO with other company as well. But Automic is the worst in that. Now when I see the Automic is the company then I stay away to fill Ipo of that company.
