I was initially disappointed when an issue resurfaced in my car a month after their work. I presumed the work wasn't done correctly. However, Bruce and his team quickly rectified the problem. They patiently explained it with videos, making it easy to understand. They are the most meticulous mechanics I've encountered. Their handling of the issue increased my confidence and trust in them.

Bruce has been awesome, he is the most polite and honest mechanic I have come across.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality mechanic!

I rarely write reviews but have to make an exception with Bruce and his team for their outstanding service. On the most recent occasion, my 2009 Mercedes C200 had broken down and over the phone Bruce diagnosed the problem (contrary to what the NRMA thought was the problem). I had the car towed to Autoactive, Bruce gave me a quote and it was repaired within an acceptable timeframe. Throughout the process, Bruce kept me updated and explained that the problem was well known with my model and provided photos to indicate the faulty part. Absolutely a great service culture - unlike most MB dealers. Highly recommended.

I doubt there's a person in Australia who knows European cars better than Bruce, and if there is then they wouldn't take the time to explain things as well as he does. It's very comforting to know your car is in the hands of a true professional with passion and talent.

I recently took my Mercedes-Benz to Autoactive for the first time for its annual service. I came to Autoactive as I wanted an MB specialist on the lower North Shore of Sydney. I have owned MB for many years and during that time have used a number of Mercedes specialist mechanics. Autoactive not only gave a very thorough report via phone so we could agree what work would be undertaken, but also a comprehensive workshop report once done accompanied with photos of the mechanical components, something none of my other mechanics have done previously. I was very impressed with this, as well as with the efficient & courteous manner of Bruce. I’m very happy to have switched and found a Mercedes specialist closer to home.

Bruce and his team at Autoactive win full marks from us for being personable, efficient, accountable, and attentive to detail. They're also cheaper than the mb dealer's service centre!

I decided not to take my car back to the dealership after they wanted to charge me $600 for a new battery. I couldn't be happier with the service and the car is driving much better now. I will never take my A200 Mercedes back to the dealership. It is just a rip off. Thanks Bruce

I took my Volvo XC70 for a major repair. Autoactive did a thorough assessment of the problems and gave me an accurate breakdown of the costs before doing any work. They performed only the repairs we decided on and took pictures of all of the parts they replaced. They even picked up some dodgy repairs that other mechanics had done. They are honest, transparent and professional. After looking for a trustworthy mechanic for a while I would highly recommend these guys.

Genuine mechanic who provides great advice - he takes pictures evidencing the issues with your car and explains why certain things need repair - I've moved away from the area but will still take my car to get serviced here!

Have trusted Bruce and his team with 2 major services and i can say i am so satisfied. Pictures were taken and the attention to detail are all provided by them. Definitely recommend.

We had our Mercedes C200 serviced last week and Bruce and the team provided excellent service, as always. We were kept well informed and any repairs were photographed for record purposes. Autoactive is highly recommended.

Prior to going to them, we had our car serviced by a "large north shore german car dealer" for a number of decades. But based on recent dealings with them, their service and attitude left a lot to be desired.
So it was very refreshing to deal with Bruce and his team at Autoactive.
Full marks for friendliness, efficiency, accountability and attention to detail!

Bruce and his team have been looking after my cars, and my families cars for 15 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough. To be honest, I never even look at the bill amount after servicing, I just have absolute faith that whatever was done, needed to be done, was carried out most expeditiously and with complete professionalism.

You would always be sceptical about recommendations by people unknown to you and often when you know them. I can say Bruce and his business do exactly what they promise. I am still amazed by their attention to service and detail. My car is restored and I was not ripped off by pricing. Everything they say is true. My experience only of course but I would recommend their motivation to do the right thing. Thanks guys and Bruce

Bruce fitted in my repair at short notice (due to a cancellation) and had it ready for collection by lunch the next day. Provided photos of the worn parts and overall gave a very positive impression. I’ll be back.

I brought my Volkswagen tiguan in for a service. Bruce did a very thorough inspection and before commencing work he went through everything precisely and was very transparent. He took photos of all the problems and the work that he did and emailed them. He used OEM replacement parts, and vw specification 504/507 engine oil.
