Australia Post reviews
67Worst customer service. Second time I visited this post office and i had the same experience. Staff was quite rude, not very helpful. The owner should either re-train the staff in providing good customer service or simply just close this branch.
One of the worst post offices I've been too. Not helpful, always confused about everything. I almost don't want to order online so I don't have to ever visit this post office. And the parking is a nightmare!
Why it is not open on Saturdays?
What about those people who are working for full time?
Worst location for post office. You go to collect package and never make it before 15 min and they charge you parking just to collect package.
I’d give it 0 stars if I could.
I’d love to know who thought it was a smart idea to put a post office in a hospital with no real options for parking & atrocious opening hours.
Absolutely RUDE customer service, the suoervisor is an absolute disgrace, shameful experience.does not even deserve a 1 star
This place is like a maze and very hard to find it with no signage atleast, the staff are rude to the customers, and thenopening timing of this is mon- fri that too 7am-5pm that is disgusting because lot of people will have their jobs in the office timings and they need to be opened on weekends. There is no proper parking too thats totally disturbing. The worst GPO i have ever seen!
Oh boy, let's talk about the Westmead post office experience! If you're in for an adventure, this is the place for you. Because nothing says "thrilling" like a quest to the post office through the local hospital.
Yes, you heard right! Our post office is cozied up right in the heart of the public hospital. So if you thought parking was a pain, wait till you're sidestepping stretchers, dodging busy doctors, and playing hide and seek with the operating theaters, all in the name of picking up mail. Who knew posting a letter could be an episode of "ER"?
Once you've navigated the medical maze and made it to the post office, you're in for another treat. The staff! They're about as friendly as a grumpy cat on a rainy day. Smiles seem to be rationed like gold, and the phrase "how can I help you? " might as well be an ancient relic.
Now, brace yourself for the finale: the posties. You might expect them to knock on your door, right? Ha, nice try! These folks could win gold in the 'Parcel Ninja Olympics'. They're so stealthy, you won't know they've been until your parcel is already back on a return trip to the sender.
So there you have it - the Westmead post office experience: part hospital drama, part comedy sketch, with a dash of mystery thrown in. Strap in, folks, it's a wild ride!
The location is testing my patience. No signboard or direction whatsoever! I spend 15 mins just to find the place!
Why is post office is in such a hidden location and tests persons navigation skills. GPS says you reached post office but you will spend 10 min locating it.
The location is terrific. No instructions or sign board near hospital even AP is inside hospital. NO PARKING!
Staff is a hit or miss based on the time of the day or how busy it is. They are usually friendly with people in hospital uniforms but try to act tough on others.
Location is downright bonkers. You can never find parking as it is hospital. I even had to pay for parking many times.
The postie that comes to my place is lazy so she never leaves the parcel and I have to keep making runs to this designated post office.
When argued; they told me to open a locker. Good idea that is.
Get new staff. Location is ridiculous situated inside a hospital for such a large area and hard to get into. Staff is quite rude most of the time unhelpful and loose parcels that they have inside their own shop. Called just now to ask a question calmly and nicely and got snapped at and hung up on?
Very inconvenient location for a post office. Staff is very inefficient and not very professional. They long time to find parcels and say they can't find it.
If i could give this place 0 stars i would.
Absolutely disgusting, rude customer service. Called them this morning to ask a simple question and the guy that answered my call was very rude. Yelled at me for no reason and refused to listen to word i said. Absolutely disgusting.
The location is almost if not equally as atrocious. Who's genius idea was to put this post office inside a hospital. There are no clear indications that it's located in there and the first i went there it took me 3 hours to find it.
This location should be specific to Westmead Hospital and not covering westmead local addresses. No way to park free at Australia's biggest public hospital. Take a bus or long walk with your heavy parcel or pay $6.80 for parking because 15 minute free parking is not practical. Westmead locals need a friendly post office at corner of street.
The worst post office location in Australia. I have lodged numerous complaints to Australia post about this post office and location and how it does serve the community in any shape or form but they do not care.
Cannot wait for a new postage service to be introduced in Australia like Amazon postage and only then will Australian post make changes to this store location.
They do not care because they have monopolised the market and we don’t have a choice but to use Australia post. An absolute joke
Is that option to give less than 1 star for review! Horrible experience with the staff. So rude with their response on a phone call and also in the office. They definitely need to learn the customer service. Worst ever post office.
Absolute garbage customer service. Apart from one staff member who is a Chinese gentleman, others don't know how to speak to people with proper manners.
Pathetic location, every time you go here to pick parcel you have to pay for parking. Atleast you can have 30 minutes free parking for the Australian post parcel receivers
