A beautiful beach with an exciting and even more beautiful sea pool. Absolutely safe. Excellent car parking and a very quick walk to excellent fish and chips. Seriously a good visit.

It was nice.a few people in the pool but as always with these things, the surf was pounding away with spillage.
On a sunny weekend I am sure it'd be popular especially in warmer weather but today.just a few in there.

Best Ocean pools in the Gong! The best time to visit is at change of tides when the waves crash over the back of the pools.

One of my favourite places. Lots of parking though it may get crowded. Beach is great. Ocean pool is clean and good size for swimming.

Very hard to get in and out of the rockpool not SAFE they need a ramp all they have is stairs one set only my 60 year mother was struggling to get in and out of the rock pool.parking very limited also lost a very expensive pair of ray bans due to the strong waves hitting us in the rock pool first and last time I come here.the up side is the bathrooms a clean big lots of showers thats about it.

Excellent rock pool. I love seeing the fishes in the pool. Relaxing, pleasant and exciting.

Austinmer Rock Pools: Way down the southern end of Austinmer Beach, there are twin rock pools that nearly disappear around high tide. Head for the heritage change rooms near the surf club and you’ll eventually see them, their outlines emerging between the crashing waves that surge over them with each set.

This makes it like swimming in a somewhat moderated version of the ocean, so time your visit closer to low tide if you want a more conventional ocean pool experience. We were undaunted though, enjoying the slightly less hectic version of what the beach swimmers were attempting on a big surf day.

The pools are amazing and great when the surf is rough, take a dip and cool down and let all the worries disappear
