Justin is friendly, personable, super knowledgeable, and he delivered an outstanding experience.
He covered relevant content at a comfortable pace. Not only did he discuss the early history of the city and country, but he somehow seamlessly tied it to what Sydney has to offer today… including its arts, architecture, social life, current events…

We absolutely loved our time spent with Justin and learned a ton while having a wonderful walk throughout the city. Big time highlight of our visit to Sidney.

I've been on 4 of their tours so far and enjoyed all of them very much! My favorite was the secret bar crawl in CBD it's nice to see the city through a local's eyes.

This tour is awesome and Justin our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and food savvy.
He presented a great insight into Chinese settlement and culture in Australian including historical attitudes toward immigration. Justin also knows the best places to eat including four of his favourite places to eat. The food was very satisfying and a great way to spend w hours. It's a fast track way learn of the best place to eat which also includes Japanese and Korean cuisine and more.

Very relaxed and informative tour of Sydney. Enough history to provide valuable context without burying you in dates and details. Also provided a good sense of “today’s” Sydney and highlighted some great places to revisit afterwards. Andrew was a terrific guide and engaged with everyone in the group, encouraging a sense of being “together” without being pushy or gimmicky.

Great tour with Kieran around Surry Hills and Darlinghurst on a busy Saturday night. Diverse places we never would have stumbled upon ourselves and a great intro to the area.

A lovely moment with Andrew, it was really interesting and peaceful. We discovered a lot of different places, met new people in the group, learned a lot of things and tried some typical food! I know I wouldn't have been able to see these places by myself, it's a change from the basic places in the center.
So I enjoyed this activity and recommend you!

We took a Street Art / Ice Cream tour with Nina. She brought us to the various murals, took time to explain to the children about them and got them involved in some art. She was patient and involved in every step of the way. Thumbs up to the team.

This was a great combination of history, art and food at a fantastic price. Justin was a knowledgeable guide and had some great facts about the history of restaurants and the local culture. He provided some great food recommendations for greater Sydney.

Went on the Newtown tour with Nihar, he is a fantastic guide! Justin is awesome, too.

I took a couple of tours with Local Sauce and loved them! Their guides are so knowledgeable, friendly, and they go the extra mile with great recommendations and tips. The tours are very interesting and unique. I plan to check out another tour with them if I make my way back to Sydney!

Fantastic tour around "hidden Sydney" with Andrew who was a great guide and host

I went on the Chinatown tour over the weekend, and it was such an amazing experience! Learnt so much about the history of Chinatown and Australian Chinese, and now have a list of go-to hidden gems in Chinatown

I had a great tour with Nina around the CBD on Tuesday night! I would have never found or gone into the bars we went to on my own. We had a small group and Nina was so easy and fun to chat with. I met some really nice people and the tour was definitely worth it!

Amazing company and really helps you understand and appreciate where you live and what has come before you.

Born and bred Sydneysiders, we decided to do the 'Hidden Sydney walking tour', hoping to see and learn about parts of our city that we drive past without a second thought.
With the knowledgeable Andrew at the helm, we quickly got to know our fellow explorers who had travelled from Spain, USA and Belgium to visit Australia. We wandered through Ultimo, Pyrmont and Glebe, learning of the history, the architecture, the people, and discovering some hidden gems (pubs and cafes) which we noted for further research.
The 3 hours flew and the walk was an easy amble.
We highly recommend Local Sauce Tours and will definitely be dealing with them again.
