For 4+ months I was almost bed ridden because of terrible pain on my lower left side caused only by sneezing twice. I was a healthy 34 year old female with 2 young kids and I couldn’t walk/stand or do anything in simple words. I also stopped working because of my pain.
I went to my GP and 2 others to get answers but they didn’t take me seriously and asked me to rest and gave me pain killers which only made me sleepy all the time. I was going crazy not knowing what’s wrong with me. And thought to wait and rest as recommended by the GPs.
After 4 months still in pain, I went to another GP and she was kind enough to take me seriously as tears rolled down my eyes.
I was diagnosed with sciatica and the pain was now considered chronic as it had lasted for more than 3 months. I was immediately put on Lyrica which reduced my pain and I was able to do my everyday stuff. The pain was still there, it just wasn’t as sharp as it was before.
Once knowing what I had, I started searching for a chiropractor and by reading amazing reviews about Dr. Paul Lee, I planned to pay him a visit.
Dr. Paul Lee was simply amazing. He was genuinely concerned and knew exactly what had happened. He was so confident after the first appointment and he said “you will feel the difference yourself”. To my amazement I did feel the difference after the 1st appointment. He also asked me to start reducing the dose of my medication which I was very scared to do as I feared the pain would come back again.
Just after 3-4 appointments, my pain has significantly reduced and I am almost off my medication. I had to stop visiting him because of the pandemic. I plan to see him again soon.
I am almost back to normal life. Thank you Dr. Paul Lee!
