Unfortunately we had to exchange 3 items as the size guide was not reflective of actual size, size guide indicated XL shirts and 36 pants, outcome was that even a size down was still on the large size - could have gone M with 32 pants. On top of that the exchange process was sloppy! After sending back there was no acknowledgement, I think my item was dumped out back - it took 3 weeks of phone calls and emails before they found my return and eventually sent the new items back.

Great selection of work shoes, both safety and non safety. The team were very helpful and would recommend quality shoes that are functional and comfortable. I have wide feet and to get a good fit, I have to pick shoes that were 1 size larger, however a tip that was shared with me today was to buy Blundstone insoles to enhance the comfort as well as the fit of the shoes.

Excellent customer service and communications - great at managing expectations with disrupted supply changes. One of the few online stores with Blundstones in large sizes. Efficient delivery and easy to order.

Great range of clothes and fantastic service. We were able to not only get quality work wear and get items embroidered, but we also picked up some great winter gear for the snow. As well as a snow coat for our dog! It is a regular stop off for us now on the weekends. The new store looks fantastic as well.

Great service by these guys, had to make some changes to an online order and they were amazingly helpful. Refund and change of products which i mis-ordered. Will use again!

Ordered some work shorts after being told they would be arriving the following week.one month later and nothing therefore I contact to ask about the issue to be told bluntly that I would be contacted when they arrived, two months later still no contact so I contacted them for them to casually say they have been discontinued and would not be arriving and if I want my refund I would have to return to store. Very disappointed and not even an apology.

It was my first time buying in this shop. Wide range of products and very friendly staff. Fantastic customer service. After a quick guidance to the section I was looking for, I Was left comfortably choosing my boots and shoes. The man who assisted me when I needed was very helpful and friendly, who gave me great advice. A shop to return to, and that I'd highly recommend.

I had an issue with purchasing items that was on backorder but never stated on the website (needs to added to the website) but apart from that Really good communication when emailed and very professionally handled i recommend this company and will be ordering more stuff in the future

Great customer service and product knowledge. ATCW introduced me to a range of super comfortable work shorts and socks. Hey.as you get older and your body shape changes and you get aches and pains in new places it's wonderful to find a business who have staff and products to help you manage. Hands down THE best place for work wear and PPE.

Was the easiest shop to get work clothes. The selection was huge and the price was great. Next time you need clothes take the time to go see ally and the michaels down there. You won't be disappointed.

I have been buying my safety boots and work wear from At The Coal Face for a number of years now. Each time I return their variety and range of products continues to grow. Along with their extremely professional customer service. They also recently organised some golf shirts with embroidery for a recent golf trip I went on. All the boys loved the shirts and the embroidery. I will always continue to shop here!

They have a great range of ladies boots and they didnt have my size in stock, so they ordered them in and I picked them up yesterday.

Poor customer service. They have a 30 day comfort guarantee, which entitles you to exchange any uncomfortable boot.
The sizing was different to what I normally ordered so I accidently ordered a boot too large which meant it was obviously uncomfortable.
I asked to exchange the boot and was told, the best thing to do is to order the right size boot.
Which is rude and passive aggressive for a company that claims to have exceptional customer service.
I called them out on their rudeness and asked them to apologize, an email they ignored and for that I think their professional value is that of one star.
Good quality boots I would prefer to buy from a more reputable company.

Went in there late morning, needing some new work boots, the man that was there was very knowledgable, let me browse happily around the store.
Gave me a lot of very helpful advice about the right types of boots they have and some of the more popular brands. Well worth the walk down there, Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
