At Ruben's Health and Fitness

Used this gym whilst my gym was still closed for Covid. Great equipment (bars especially), highly free weight based which is a positive. Friendly staff (favourite being Ruby) who were very welcoming and kept the facility very clean. Although I didn’t try any classes there seemed to be a wide variety, and I was pleased to see that the owner, Ruben, is an integral part of the gym, teaching classes and being on the floor. I would recommend this gym to anyone and I would have signed up if I didn’t already work at a gym and get free access.

Whilst the gym I normally go to remained shut even after COVID restrictions on gyms were lifted, I decided to check out Ruben’s after a recommendation from a friend. I went to a few classes conducted by a series of different trainers including Ruben, which were enjoyably challenging. The gym facilities are fantastic, heaps of great equipment and plenty of space. I was super impressed with how clean Ruben and his team keep the gym, and not to mention they were all super lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be recommending this gym to my friends and hope to return soon.

You know your're walking into a good gym when you feel the energy immediately. All staff and trainers are well mannered and always smiling and are well educated when it comes to exercise and training. Gym is spacious and always space to train what you like. Great local gym!

This is the best gym I've ever been a member of. Super friendly team members, great community atmosphere and awesome classes. Couldn't recommend it enough!

I had an interview with Ruben about 4 weeks ago as he was looking for a sports massage therapist. He contacted me as I had applied for the job and agreed to have a chat on Tuesday. I was there at time and he was late about 45 min without letting me know he is running late.the interview was good and we agreed to go to the second stage (practical assessment) and he would love to have a massage session with me. We decided to be on Thursday at 10: 30 am. On Thursday, at 10: 25 am I was parking my car next to his gym, but I had a call from him that telling me he is with his kids at home and trying to reach his wife but can’t. Personally, I totally understand his situation as a father.but.as a manager of business he should contact me earlier to show some respect of other people’s time. He ended his call with telling me I will call you back.now its almost 4 weeks and I haven’t received a call or even a text message.
I’m writing my experience just to tell people who will apply for a job or want to join his gym.

Awesome gym, relaxed vibe, great staff and team who make training enjoyable! Spin classes are the best in the area. Highly recommend

Out of the 8 gyms I have been to, At Ruben's has been the most enjoyable experience. It does not feel like one of those larger commercial gyms, the environment is super friendly and accepting.

I regret that I will not be going here anymore as I am moving out West. I will surely miss it. Thanks

Rubens gym has everything I need for training. As a cyclist, I find it hard to find a gym with bikes that record distance and lucky Rubens has them!

@Rubens is an awesome local independent gym and health centre. My husband and I love being a member here not only because of the great variety of classes but also because of the size, variety of equipment and abundance of natural light and air (important!). Also Ruben, the owner is a passionate health & fitness guru and such an awesome leader for his team of trainers and fitness experts.
Love supporting local owners doing what they are passionate about and sharing their expertise with the community for the betterment of all.

One of the most welcoming gyms I have ever been to. Really relaxed vibe I love the variety of classes on offer as well. Boxing and SFX classes are my favourite. The trainers are genuinely friendly and approachable, and great at what they do.

Really lovely gym and a great team of trainers. If you want a great workout in an environment that is comfortable and professional without any of the pretentious vibes some gyms seem to have this is the place for you.

I highly recommend this gym as the entire @Rubens team are extremely friendly and helpful. They are all about working with you at your speed to improve your fitness and health. The team have created a fantastic culture and environment that makes you feel very welcome. Of all the gyms I've been to, this is by far the best!

Such an awesome gym! Ruben and the team are fantastic trainers, highly motivating and always pushing you to achieve your best result. I have also done the personal training sessions with Tegan and she definitely encourages and challenges me to achieve things I didn't know I could. @rubens is a great gym and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great to place to workout, make friends and have fun!

Such an awesome gym. Great community feel coupled with excellent facilities and staff. Would recommend to any in the area. I travel a long way just to attend the @Rubens spin class.

Best gym ever! Staff and members are super friendly and helpful. Not too crowded and heaps of equipment.

The whole team @Ruben are working at my fitness level to improve my health. Highly recommend this gym to others looking to get fitter. Loving the spin classes - huge call out to Lauren who manages to bring a smile to my face though the workout (so much fun) & to Ruben for his encouragement & expertise. Wish I’d joined sooner.
