Associate Professor Karl Ng

I have been seeing Dr Karl Ng for over 8 years and prior to seeing him tried many treatments over the 20 years that I have been suffering from migraines. His treatment has dramatically reduced the frequency and severity of migraines and has in short, been life-changing. He has a wealth of knowledge about migraine research and new treatments and is also just a very genuine and caring doctor.

If I could give this guy negative stars, I would. He is quite literally the WORST doctor I have ever dealt with. I don't even understand how he is a Neurologist.

This "doctor" is simply charging people for absolutely nothing in return. There is no value from the incredibly short consultations with him.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

I REPEAT: DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS PERSON.

Look for a different Neurologist please!

I cannot speak to other's experiences, but my wife has seen Dr Ng for many years and we have found him to be nothing but extremely professional, considerate and diligent in his work.

Gets one star and that is only because of receptionist. Saw this neurologist last year. I should of read reviews prior to using this man. Dismissive of what I had to say, cold and told not to worry about a second opinion. Happy to take your money but does not offer solutions, only barriers. I got a second opinion and have thankfully had issues rectified. To all GP's and people thinking about using this Neurology Practice, do your research, there are better neurologists who actually listen out there.

One the worse experience I had with a doctor was with this unprofessional doctor.
He is always late, he always looks like uninterested in you or your issues. He didn’t keep his promise to call me once he had to call me for an urgent matter. He is always on Holidays or is going to a holiday!
He is not knowledgeable and he only see you as a money producer!
Ripping off, ripping off ripping off! This is all I must say about him. My story is too long to share in here but just for your information I was his patient for more than 3 years- long enough- to tell you to NOT let him be your doctor. Waste of money, waste of time and trust. He is a con man. I am going to put a formal complaint about him but just wanted to put my review in here first to warn any person who is desperately looking for a Nurologist in Sydney.

My issues with this doctor are, firstly he appears to be quite impatient and eager to finish the conversation despite we need more explanation on the usage of the medicine; secondly when we told him that the medicine given have side effects he did not give any more suggestions than what GP has suggested already and claimed that was his plan B. However this plan B wasn’t communicated before After that he repeatedly asked me to go back to GP. I am quite disappointed with that service.

I was told to arrive early and waited 50 minutes for my appointment, then after a $390 consultation was basically told exactly what my GP has told me. No additional examination offered or specialist knowledge. I found Dr Ng’s manner rather dismissive and uninterested, and have walked away upset and highly unsatisfied.

Very professional, helpful and always pleasant to chat with. Here's a man who obviously enjoys his profession after all the hard work he's put in. Very glad to have been referred.
