ASR Wealth Advisers (ASRW)

I have had the worst experience with ASRW who haven’t returned my deposit of $15000 even after 3 months. I have made numerous phone calls to Steve Redmond and many others who seem to have left the organisation. This is a rogue group of people. I wouldn’t recommend anyone doing any business with them.

Follow up from below review. Steve promised that my $10,000 will be in my bank account on 15th Sep 2023, but today is 19th Sep 2023, and yet the money is still not in my bank. I am very frustrated as to why he broke his promise of paying me. I tried to contact him many times but all my calls go to the answering machine. Even though I left messages for him to return my calls, but he did not. I emailed him and my email bounced back. I have raised this issue with Australian Financial Complaints Authority and hopefully they can help me to get Steve of ASRW to return my money asap. So I would caution future investors to be careful and think twice before you trust this company with your money.

Due to my changing condition I ask for withdrawal of my initial investment of $10,000 which I had paid on 9th June 2023. Up to today 1st July, ASR Wealth Advisers has not refunded me my money. I wonder why they take so long to refund client's money when I change my mind. So this is to advise future investors to think carefully before releasing funds to ASR Wealth Advisers, because you will not get your refund immediately if you change your mind, thus losing interest if you have kept your money in your bank.
Today 25/8/2023 is coming to three months since I paid ASR Wealth Adviser deposit of $10,000 and they still have not refunded me. I made many calls for the advisers to contact me but receive no responses. How can this company conduct in an unethical manner. No refund and response. I am very distressed and devastated.

Mr Logan Harrison Wong is the most helpful stock broker. He is so patient in answering all my question in a way which I can understand and is only too willing to help me with any problem or concern. He is also such a nice person and always speaks to me with a smile in his voice.

The sales talk can be misleading. The fine print did not match what I was told when the NDIS product was being sold to me. For example, I was told initially that the investment is for 10 years but I later learnt that the returns are only earned for 8-9 years. The initial fee charged was much higher than what I was told & emailed it would be (4.9% instead of 2%) which made my investment amount much lesser than I had planned it to be. I have investments with others too and this is not my first time investing in such funds but it is the first time that I felt being misled by the advisors.

I made investment for NDIS on 21/01/2022 and paid amount. But this never been gone through. I am still waiting for refund.

I've been with them for over a year now and have got a SMSF that these guys are investing for me. I was an investment novice but, Senior Investment Adviser Khaled El-Katateny keeps me up to date with current investment opportunities and the management of my portfolio as well as educating me in the basics. He goes the extra mile to ensure I buy or sell at the right time and explains opportunities and gives reasons for his advice.
