The tradespeople from asnu were friendly, responsive and were able to complete the job successfully. Will consider them again.

I had Philippe the painter do paint indoors. He was an over achiever and perfectionist so you can imagine the quality of the job he did for me. I don't know about other employees but Phil is the guy for sure. He certainly makes ASNU look very professional.
Very happy with the job and can recommend to anyone.

We were very happy with the ASNU team after we had work completed back in 2018.
Over the next few years, we had some warranty issues but due to covid restrictions the repairs could not proceed.
We have kept in contact with Cath Dopper & Geoff Gillies over the years and now we have just had all our warranty issues completed and would recommend ASNU to any other people.

I'm very happy with their workmanship, David is very professional and always assist you. ASNU GROUP OF TRADES is highly recommended.

Finished product so terrible and honestly embarrassing. Have had 2 builders review and say it’s poor workmanship. We also found the painter to be unprofessional, turning up in moccasins then saying “it’s a big job” around 3 times before leaving insisting it was best to wait a week and someone else would be back to paint. In the end the roofer painted! It was a joke and I wish I had of trusted the poor reviews noted here. Beware.

They are really the best. The tradies are very professional. The work they did was excllent and i will be more than happy to use them again and recommend them to my friends, family and colleagues.

Absolutely useless. Don’t return calls or emails. When we finally got them to do some work, the quality was terrible. Amateurs!

I guess Geoff, after your lengthy site visit back in November 2021, several emails and several telephone calls since, I get the feeling that I should not hold my breath expecting a quote and that you are just not interested? A simple telephone call would have sufficed. A waste of both our times.

Used for painting exterior and oiling of deck - big job.
The painting was fine but the deck result was poor quality, poor communication/follow up - they came back and put another 2 coats on but didn't fix the issue - they had NO interest or customer service.infact we have had to look to get another tradesman in to redo the deck to a respectable quality.
Would never use again or recommend.completely AVERAGE

This ute was driving at Toongabbie-Prospect. He was driving erratically and speeding behind me, trying to intimidate me to drive faster. He drove very very close to my car almost colliding into me. I had my young daughter in my car, and she scared of what he might do due to his behaviour. After intimidating me and successfully over-taking me, he laughed in his car at me and proceeded to taunt me by driving recklessly infront of me and stopping at a green light. If a member of your company drives like this, causing distress to me and my daughter by taunting us and almost causing an accident, I cannot imagine the horrible kind of work ethic much less, the morals he would have. I will download the video off my dash cam and will report to the police. These kinds of people should not be allowed on the road. Unnessecary accidents will happen all because someone like him want to drive recklessly and act like children on the road.

ASNU designed and installed a new kitchen for us, Wassim did a wonderful job and all the tradesmen were very helpful. ASNU also painted the inside of the house, Geoff gave good advice as usual and was very helpful. The painters Paul and Jordan were also very helpful and polite and did a professional job. We have used ASNU before and would have no hesitation in doing so again.

We got Asnu to replace rotten barge boards and repaint the complete outside including gutters on both floors and touching up re-painted tiles with Deluxe Membrane. The quote done by Geoff came quickly and they were very competitive with no unreasonable "extra" costs.

The two young carpenters Tuku and Munro were excellent with good humour and carpentry skills. The two painters Mark and Hassan were equally skilled and good natured. The job site was always safe and tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were all friendly and we were happy to leave them full access to the house when we were out. The fact that both sets of Trades were Asnu employees was great as there was no miscommunication between Trades and them having their own scaffolding certainly made the job go quicker as no waiting for external trades.

If we need future work we will definitely use Asnu and have no hesitation in recommending their work.

The guys at ASNU were amazing. They were friendly, responsive and communicated all steps of the process to repair my balcony. They completed the job very professionally and came back to gerni my driveway where the timbers had leached during the rain (without even being asked). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Some years ago (not many) I had work done by asnu. I am currently spending $1000's getting repairs done because of the shoddy workmanship. At the time I complained to the owner, who came out, inspected the work and assured me it would be remediated. Rotten timber had been filled, not replaced, and then painted over.

Don’t do it! They duped my 84 year old mother with a rubbish paint job, they applied the wrong paint, they came back painted over it were supposed to come back for a second coat. She called and called and called but to no avail.

The guys were friendly and replaced 2 finials. They returned the next day to paint them, but also sealed and painted the third finial. So they all look like new. Highly recommended!

Demolished and rebuilt a deck for us. Pretty good job. However as part of the deal all rubbish from the job was to be removed. Instead concrete rubble was dumped in our backyard and pieces of the previous metal fence placed in our garage.

When asked why they were not removed they stated only rubbish from their work would be removed not from the existing structures.

So yeah, good looking new deck but a lot of mess elsewhere.

We had a mixed experience.

The office team were very responsive and proactive with their communications too. I have no complaints on that front. And one of the tradies that came did an excellent job. But the only reason he was there is that he needed to fix a mess left by the first guys. I think the second guy was surprised at what he found when he saw it. The final result is fine.

Would I use them again? On balance I would probably say no. We invited them to quote a second job because they were already set up at our house. But I felt their quote was very high and have been proved correct. I ultimately had the job done very professionally by another company who charged less than half the ASNU quote. If ASNU had been more flexible on their price and done a more efficient job first time around then I might have booked them for the second. But I can’t say that my overall experience with them generated enough goodwill.

I've used AsNu on a couple of occasions, and they've completed the work to a high standard and with no complications. Their workers have been polite, helpful, and trustworthy. And their customer service has also improved dramatically since the first time I used them, a couple of years ago. I'll certainly hire them again for my carpentry requirements.
