I can’t recommend Artistic Decor highly enough. A skilled tradesman combined with a professional approach is very hard to come by these days. From the first phone call right through to the end of the project, Sam exceeded our expectations. He took absolute pride in his work and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Happily answered every one of the five million questions I threw at him.
He faithfully restored and transformed our timber kitchen that we believe was in our home for around 20 years. It was previously built from recycled materials so this is the beginning of its third ‘life’.
She looks absolutely beautiful and we are so thrilled with our new kitchen, it’s a 10 from me! Thanks so much Sam!

Artistic decor! Sam the artist, and wood worker, and painter! SKILLED! We had a vision for our 1996 installed Tasmanian oak kitchen that we thought was impossible to achieve. But after sending Sam our initial photos and his response to our requirements we were still a little skeptical. What were we doing? Would it be cheaper to rip it out and start again. We were happy with the original layout and cupboard space so we decided to follow Sam’s advice and we took a leap of faith and we couldn’t be happier (at the cost too). As expected there was refurb work, kitchen draw facia fell apart, some hair line fractures and of course spinal hinge area fractures and with complete transparency, Sam informed us every step of the way what the plan was, he fixed them like they were brand new! He was quick, precise, completely professional, not a drop of paint out of place! Would we use Sam’s, Artistic Decor for future projects? YES. Would we recommend him to friends, family and or strangers? YES! Sam keep on doing what you do! Love ya work!

Sam was open, honest and very descriptive of what resurfacing our timber kitchen would involve and the limitations of what he could achieve.
His advice on colour and the impacts of light and shadow lines are examples of the detail and knowledge he has.
When it came to doing the work, he was exceptionally tidy and hard-working, which meant the time of disruption was minimised.
He had great attention to detail, which resulted in our total satisfaction with the project.

Sam of Artistic Décor spray painted our 20 year old polyurethane kitchen. We had been advised by several “experts” that this could not be done. They were wrong.

Sam did a magnificent job. Our kitchen is now as good as new for a fraction of the price of the alternatives.

Sam is a true expert. His workmanship is of the highest quality and his knowledge of techniques and products is extensive. Also, Sam’s standards of professionalism are the highest we have encountered – he truly puts his client first and gives excellent advice. He is meticulous in his work with great attention to detail. Sam took great care in protecting all other surfaces and in leaving the site thoroughly clean. To add to the experience, the project ran like clockwork, with every step being completed on time.

Sam painted some Ikea cabinets for us as we wanted a custom colour (to match our walls). He was very easy to work with, took pride in his art, spent time to ensure we got exactly what we were after, and even helped with packaging and loading the cabinets to avoid damage in transit. We love the result and would use Sam's services again without hesitation.
