Used to be the 'go to' art venue for life drawing. Now since they moved none to speak of. Pity. Have to look elsewhere.

Great for ceramics classes, and also offers other types of art classes for kids, teenagers, young adults and adults.

Early bird discount is available.

I genuinely enjoy the 'teen term classes', it has improved my art skills vastly:)

I did a pottery class last year. Was unable to retrieve my pieces due to the Covid shut down and they have since thrown them out. Have tried contacting them numerous times and left messages with a promise that someone will call me back. Nobody has. It's been a really disappointing and expensive experience. Won't be going back.

The school ambience looks good but the teachers for 5 year-olds are very lacklustre

Art Est was a great place to learn and create things however sometimes it is not amazing. There prices are way to high ($85.00 to be exact) and sometimes the teachers get a little lazy and just hand you some clay and say "off you go create something"
This place normally has a good reputation but sometimes it can lack the expectations and can sometimes be a bit of waste of money

Art Est is an amazing Art School in Leichhardt. I am in my second term of ceramics and absolutely love it. I have always wanted to try my hand at being a potter and now I am. The school is lovely, small intimate classes, the teachers are extremely knowledgable and provide endless support. I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to try their hand at potting. It is definitely a skill, I am not sure I will ever master but I am loving the ride!
