Great dojo! Rob is a lovely person who really cares for all his students. He is passionate about teaching and gives his absolute all. Due to personal circumstances, I was only able to attend for a few months but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Arrow martial arts has changed our sons life. It has taught him self endurance, discipline and most importantly respect. A big Thankyou to Rob, Corrine and team for your exceptional program for both kids and adults.

Highly recommend Arrow Martial Arts. Rob and Corinne put their heart and soul into developing each student. Both my boys have trained there for years and grown in confidence and ability. A wonderful community to be part of.

A great martial arts school. I've already learned more from Rob and the classes at Arrow than I did taking karate lessons for 2 years at a different school. Classes cater for all experience levels and I've never felt bored or left behind. Can't speak for the kids classes but I would highly recommend Arrow for any adults looking to get into, or back into, martial arts.

Arrow Martial Arts offer a unique, fun, safe and energetic atmosphere for all the family to train in a traditional Japanese style of Martial Arts. Both Rob and Corrine give to their students in so many ways encouraging you to become your very best. Their love for Martial Arts and the desire to help is truly special. Thank you Arrow for being the best

I've been attending the Arrow adult classes for about 5+ years and obtained my first dan black belt last year. I initially joined Arrow to take up martial arts after watching Todd Sampson's brain training series on ABC and to supplement my running with another workout. Since then I always look forward to training nights at Arrow.

Along with a vigorous workout, I'm always learning new self defence techniques, fine tuning my existing knowledge and get the opportunity to help/mentor other junior students with their belt progression. After two years at Arrow I'm much more physically fit and mentally resilient.

In addition to the normal training session Arrow also offer the opportunity to put our skills, fitness, agility into practice during the weekly sparring sessions with fellow students. These sessions teach you to overcome fear, pain and forces our mind and body to find ways to overcome our opponent. After a sparring session, regardless you win or lose or get a bit injured or tired, you come out invigorated for the week ahead. Above all we try to take care of each other's well-being.

Martial art is an element that will benefit, enrich and add discipline and focus to everyone's lives - and Arrow is an excellent place to cultivate that art. I would recommend anyone around this area interesting in JuiJitsu check out Arrow.

My son has been a student at Arrow for over a year, the instructors are caring and patient. He is very energetic but also can be very shy- they create a safe space for him to learn and feel comfortable. I always recommend Arrow to friends and colleagues as I have only had the best experiences with them.

I have never before been more disappointed in a business. I was told when Covid started that I was unable to suspend my sons lessons and that I had to cancel and pay a re-joining fee – my son has chronic asthma and we were very concerned for his well-being. Then when the federal government announced the closure of all sporting facilities, I was told that I needed to fill in a cancellation form, I assumed this was so my son wasn’t forced into the online lessons, which I had never agreed to. Assuming the paperwork was just a formality, I signed it. I was shocked to find out that regardless of the government closing down sporting facilities, I still had to pay the 28-day cancellation fee, because I signed the form. I then inquired as to why I was paying for three lessons a week when they were unable to supply the lessons and I was told that this was just their policy. Can someone please explain to me how it is their policy to make me pay for 12 lesson’s, yet they were unable to supply the 12 lessons during the 28-day period? I also never signed-up to online learning and do not have the space for an 11-year-old to do jujitsu in my living room, so again I am confused as to why I had to pay a cancellation fee, when the government had already cancelled all sporty activities, even if it was their policy, how can they justify charging me for 12 lessons when they could not supply those lessons - I am disgusted, that at a time when other sporting organisations were going out of their way to help the community and families, Arrow appeared to me, to be only concerned with money. I understand that it is a family business, but you do not treat people like this, especially if you expect them to return, which my son never will be doing. My son would come home and talk about the principles and values that were important to Arrow, in retrospect, to me it was just all made up and these principles and values do not reflect the true nature of the owners. This is just my experience and my opinion based on my experience, but I suspect, I am not the only one who feels like this!

I wholeheartedly recommend Arrow Martial Arts. Having been training here for 1.5 years, I feel physically stronger and more mentally focused than ever before. Furthermore I have practical self-defence skills from learning a well-rounded martial arts system. Every class is challenging, safe and very importantly - great fun with a fantastic group of fellow students.

Fully recommend Arrow and their teachers Robin and Corinne who teach Northstar Ju Jitsu. The system is very helpful in achieving focus. Their dedication to getting to know each and every student and even parents is amazing.

Claimed as NorthStar but it is not.found Arrows owner quite business savy, keep recruiting new students, crowded with limited space, teach repetitive to suit new students, delay progress of existing students, owner is arrogant at times.better to visit the proper NS dojo in North Sydney or Balmain where instructors are really passionate to nuture your kids.don't waste time.
