Great place to visit, overlooking the beach. Friendly staff, nice food, cold beer all reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

We waited for a table for breakfast that needed to be cleaned. The staff member came over and wiped it over half heartedly flicking the food onto the floor with nothing but a chux wipe she was carrying in her apron. We ended up going and buying antiseptic wipes because the table and menus were sticky and we watched her "clean" at least 5 or 6 tables with her same chux wipe. Someone even called her back to reclean the table and she returned with the same cloth and no cleaning products in sight. Besides cleanliness, the food was okay, not great for the price charged. Coffee was nice. Great location. Wouldn't return, too overpriced and not clean.

This place is definitely ripping off. I asked for a piece of chocolate mud cake they charged me $14 for it and i got the smallest worst piece of cake I ever had was a very tiny piece not even the standard that it should be. Plus waiting long and worst customer service never to this place again the worst in terrigal.

Me n Hubby came here for our 19th wedding anniversary this wkend, and stayed in Terrigal! When we were brought over to our table, a cute little gesture by a young staff member greeted us! Some paper love hearts very sweet and appreciated!

Coffee was great. But, 7 dollars for two pieces of cold toast that only half was actually cooked in the toaster was pretty disappointing. As was the attitude from wait staff. Massively overrated place.

Takeaway coffee sizing is an absolute joke and a complete rip off, the small size is basically a shot of coffee but still cost over $5 and large is the size of most shops small this is a clear rip off.

Went to get brunch here. Waited in line for 5 mins and was then told I missed the breakfast order time by 2 mins. Then I had to wait 15 mins until we could order lunch. Really poor attitude from the staff. Like a government bureaucracy. Food was ok but quite expensive.

It is a great spot to stop for a coffee, enjoy a delicious scone and have a lovely meal. The food is amazing and the service is great.

Ordered the salt & pepper squid and a coffee for $40… The squid was nice but not worth the price, felt like a fish and chips takeaway place.

Service was stellar! No issues there. Overlooking a great view of the beach too. We had major issues with our food, having to wait close to TWO HOURS for our food to arrive.

We were completely understanding of the situation- it was during Mother's Day and the place was incredibly busy. We were willing to wait 30 minutes, but once 1 hour hit our whole family was hungry. We were told food was coming in 10 minutes, only to be waiting ANOTHER 30 mins for our food to finally arrive.

Not even worth it, everything was quite bland, and so much time has passed that we weren't even hungry anymore and left a lot on our plate.

Plenty of other patrons were in the same boat as us. We noticed that another family that was sitting way before us only got their food 10 minutes before we did.

Can't blame the wait staff for this, but they certainly could use better (and more) kitchen staff.

Very disappointing! I ordered a Quinoa Salad! It was a salad but I had to really search for the quinoa, I do not believe there was a teaspoon of it! And it was submerged by an average dressing! Luckily you can look at the beach, just so beautiful! The place deserves a professional team who loves serving good food!

I recently visited Aromas on the sea and had a pleasant experience. The location was great with a nice view, and the service was fast. The atmosphere was nice for lunch. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great - the salad was ok, but the add on chicken was so overcooked and rubbery. All in all, it was an okay experience.

Nice Xmas catch-up with our work crew. Only thing to acknowledge was when asked how I'd like the sirloin steak cooked, said medium rare and arrived overcooked. Also to our surprise, the 3 Tasmanian scallops were the size of a 10c piece and left us thinking we perhaps should have ordered something different. The staff were friendly and helpful though bringing out the food with a smile

30min for a drink, food was below expectations, and no flexibility from the staff (we had 4 people but the entree had 3 items and they would allow us to buy one more for the table)

I had the most beautiful salad but it was missing 2 main ingredients from it. Didn't say anything at the time because I was on my own and couldn't leave the table and didn't have staff nearby to help out. Even without the items it was lovely. Atmosphere is nice and lovely view.

Our breakfast and coffee came to $72 for two people. I don’t think we will be coming back on a Sunday with that surcharge. The food and coffee we got was not worth that money.

We have been absolutely loving going back to Aroma's lately. It is THE most beautiful place to sit and have a glass of wine and something to eat, overlooking the ocean through the pine trees. A couple of weeks ago, we held a function at Aroma's on a Friday night. The staff were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful and amenable, just wanting us all to have a great night. The two managers we dealt with to organise the function - George and Alex - were absolutely delightful. And night manager Ash was wonderful, too. This fabulous experience has reminded me of what a gem Aroma's is. We've since had breakfast there and appreciated the many healthy options on the menu and the delicious coffee.

Aromas at Terrigal is a beautiful setting. Sadly service does not match. Have been a few times and coffee is never hot even if requested. Yesterday was actually unpleasant. A muffin was ordered and never came. Eventually the manager came to show docket with no muffin even though it was ordered. My sister requested hotter chai latte came back even colder with staff member saying they had added hot water. The mains were ordered before any of this. After 40 mins and 3 previous requests as to the problem with the delay and told meals are coming 3 times we asked for a refund as no meals came.

The manager was argumentative! We had a 4 year old waiting all that time too. To say I was extremely disappointed at service and staff attitude is an understatement. Unacceptable and unpleasant experience.
