Archer & Hobb Fine Tea Merchants - Katoomba High Tea

We had a wonderful high tea this afternoon. The freshly baked scones were a highlight though all the food was very tasty. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The decor and atmosphere are elegant and there were lovely touches to the presentation of the menu and food such as wax and chocolate seals respectively. Definitely recommend, especially as the prices are very reasonable.

I have nothing but positive things to write about this place. Lovely music and ambiance and customer service is amazing. The host is a delight and the chief is lovely as well as he walks you through the dishes. Highly recommend, very organised and very fast service with friendly staff. Must book in advance as they are highly sought after. They also went out of their way to make me feel special on my bday, such kind staff! Definitely coming back next time I'm in katoomba. I've loved going Archer and hobb ever since it so bit opened but with lockdown I haven't been able to drop in, have cake and say hi to lovely Lou. But trying the takeaway menu made me feel like I was right back in the tea room! Definitely recommend the gourmet desserts, just pair them with your favourite tea at home and it's perfect!

Celebrated my Mother's 65th birthday with high tea. So delicious, lovely warm surroundings and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Definitely recommend.

This little surprising gem was an amazing way to start a mums weekend away without children. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable and we felt welcome the whole time.

I enjoyed high tea with friends. It was the perfect place to unwind. Lou was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing by Chef Hugh. The service was warm and friendly. I have never had better. We loved it so much we went again the next day for brunch, and again it was superb.

Nice to have white table cloth service in town and right near the station. I had Devonshire tea with coffee. Scones fresh made. High Tea & brunch options also.

Had a lovely high tea experience with my friends here! The environment was so welcoming and warm and the service was top notch! Our waiter lou was so sweet and always attended to us! And the chef was very kind and explained all the dishes he made:)

Tried to have some afternoon tea— dropped in without a booking. The restaurant almost empty but we were told they were fully booked for the day.
