Our roof comprises a central tiled section and two metal clad sections. The roof was many decades old and was leaking in several locations. We decided to replace the lot using APT Roofing Pty. Ltd. This company was chosen after a rigorous selection process.

My first contact with APT was about 11 years ago when I engaged them to replace my roof. I was very happy with their work. A couple of times since then I have called them to deal with some minor issues (not related to the roofing installation) and they have always responded quickly. Earlier this year I again contacted APT to solve an unusual problem which was first identified by an electrician. Again they responded promptly and proposed a good solution. The work was then carried out in a very efficient manner and I am happy with the outcome. I will continue to deal with APT for any roofing issues.

We are a Strata block of 27 Units that required a tiled roof replacement as part of extensive remedial works to the building. We have dealt with Tony the owner and could not fault the attention we received, the speed of response and accuracy of information that we would receive. Despite a year plagued with bad, wet weather once we got a start date, the work was completed very efficiently, the end result is spectacular in looks and any issues that arose during installation were promptly dealt with and resolved. We have no hesitation in recommending APT roofing for the quality of work and the trust that was built up during the project. As the project was complex and ran at the tail end of COVID restrictions, we did get caught up in the building industry price and manpower issues. We feel we have ended up with a great outcome and a roofing relationship into the future.

Used APT on a couple of occasions to repair and eventually install a new roof. Found the team at APT to be very professional and trustworthy. Installation team were fantastic and went out of their way to minimise any disruption.

APT repaired my 90 yr old Dad’s roof after the horrendous rain in February. Tony managed it from end to end - made it a priority job, kept Dad up to date every step of the way and followed up to ensure he’s happy and well. Exceptional service! Would recommend them

Thoroughly unprofessional - avoid at all costs

Our strata engaged APT for advise on a leak almost 3 years ago. Upon a site Inspection a re flashing solution was proposed but upon completion of the work it was noted the re-flashing was not extended down the full length of the offending parapet wall and much of the chipped off render and paint was left unaddressed. Our tenant continued to experience leaks and after an extensive delay over the Covid period APT finally returned but now alluded to the problem being an internal box gutter. We once again we followed the advise provided but yet again the tenant received no remedy, this despite us having spent several thousand dollars at this stage.

After many many months of pushing we finally had a new representative (Pete) attend the site and we were again presented with yet another $17,000 repair solution.

After many weeks of pushing I met Pete on-site again to discuss his latest solution and discuss remedies against the work already undertaken and paid for.

Pete advised the issue was beyond his authority but would consult his boss Tony and come back to us with an adjusted solution which might finally see the our tenant’s water leak fixed.this was on Match 5th 2022.3 months later as at June 1st we still had no reply despite our Strata agent and myself pushing for answers. Upon making a final demand this week we have been advised by APT that repairs undertaken are now “unsustainable” by APT and will not be warranted.

I would suggest being extremely wary of any commitments made by this company that do everything possible to avoid standing behind the poor workmanship they undertake.

A fantastic service was provided by Tony from APT Roofing. Tony was always prompt and extremely organised in providing information, tile samples and quotes for my new roof installation. He made the whole process easy to understand and provided an excellent solution to an issue I was having with my guttering. I highly recommend his services.

Husband rang to ask if they could come have a look at our roof we may have a leak. Their waiting time is 3-4 weeks. Wanted to use the local but their not keen.
