We had rented a car from Hertz for a 25 day holiday in Australia and from the time we collected it my husband had to keep putting air in one of the tyres. We contacted Hertz who informed us that it wasn, t their problem! As we were heading for Brisbane the following day we took it to the nearest garage to Hertz and asked them to look at it and repair it if possible. They took the tyre off, found a nail in it and stated that it had been there a long time as the head was even worn off it. They fixed it and we went to pay the 20 dollars originally quoted to find the owner would not accept a penny. We were blown away with his generosity and kindness and wish to thank him personally this way. We are in our 70s, visiting our daughter and were touched by his caring attitude. Thank you both. Apps Mechanical were honest efficient curtious. Did a great job. A great bunch of guys to deal with going above and beyond.
Highly recommend them.

Sorted me out last minute great guys had engine lights popping up. Was loose turbo hoses good banter and great customer service.

The inconsistancy of these reviews should alert you that something is not right. My dealing with these incompetent foul mouthed so called friendly staff was anything but honest. I would not even let them work on my lawn mower.

Worst mechanics ever! They told me the problem was fixed that was only temporary by the time I got home I had the same ongoing problem. I went back to let them know only to be instantly ABUSED, INTIMIDATED, threatened to be ASSAULTED, and called RACIST names on the way out.

Passing through and had only had a few days in Port Macquarie. Not only were they able to fit me in, while I was waiting I was able to tell they were an honest and upfront bunch. This was only confirmed when they saw me and let me know my issue was only tyre noise. Highly recommened.

The crew at APPs are the most helpful and professional team in Port. They do actually give customer service, which is awesome. Well done and thanks guys.

If you dont like bad language, dont f@#kn go. But if you want your vehicle looked after properly at a decent price go to apps. Sorted a few problems on 2 of my cars that other places had ripped me for and not done works correct. Was looked after without further issues.

I heard it was recently proven that "people who swear a lot tend to be more honest and trust worthy". Well I can definitely confirm the guys at apps mechanical are very, very honest and trust worthy! I have been taking my cars here for probably 5 years or more and always have received great service from a bunch of boisterous friendly blokes who know their cars.

Dodgy operators! They'd probably do an ok job, only if you know them! Steer well clear otherwise! Father & son acts like this, ought to be driven into oblivion and left there!

Great service, expertise and reasonably priced- they took the time to thoroughly investigate and solve an issue with my xtrail.

Good value log book service. Best low cost service I can find in Port. $160- cheaper than the price of a Subaru dealer. Young crew seemed to know what to do. Forgot one basic check (reset of oil dilution counter), but completed it quickly once reminded. Friendly.

Had an odd idle problem and got quoted $2000 but another mechanic found it only to be glow plugs costing $80
