I bought an Series 9 Apple Watch from here as a Christmas present with a sports band. I specifically bought the band because the clerk said that I can go swimming and surfing with it. 3 days later, I go swimming and the watch comes off after jumping in the river. I've never had an issue with apple products in the past so this is very disappointing, especially because the watch was $1500.

After many years buying all apple products, I’ve had a bad experience at genius area on apple Chatswood. I’m covered by apple care plus and they told me I’ve nothing to pay to repair. They kept my MacBook for 15 days and call me to pick up and wasn’t repair. And even worse, if I want to move ahead to repair, I need to pay $429 and go to the queue which means at least 10 business days! No more Apple to my family! They lost a costumer

I had a great experience at Apple Chatswood. Annabelle who helped me really stood out. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process a breeze. It's clear that she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about making customers happy. Thanks for making my visit so enjoyable!

Bought my wife a new watch.the woman who helped us was great. Then the complete opposite happened.we were sitting at a table setting up the watch to link with the phone.a staff member touched me on the shoulder and said nothing.then she bumped into me.then she bumped into me again which is when i said would hey can you not do this please.well she didnt need my attitude and she would get the manager. OK knock your self out. I said if i am in the way ask me to move.she said she couldn't see me.really.i always knew that "the customer is always right" was too over the top. But rudeness from a staff member should not be tolerated anywhere.if she was out in public doing this then she would be told clearly this is not OK.but she is an apple employee.that makes it OK i expect. Covid has changed the way staff react and respond to peoples rudeness and that is a good thing. But venomous angry emotionally retarded people who project their anger at the world on the customers.is just poor form.good thing your products are great otherwise this rudeness will send you broke. Steve Jobs will be shuddering in his grave.certainly wont be going to Chatswood Apple store again

Apple Store doesn’t price match with Apple in Amazon. That’s shocking!
Bought in JB hifi straight away, they do price match on Apple Amazon.

Progressively getting worse and worse and worse.

The quality caliber and basic knowledge of so called "genius" is at an all time low.
Furthermore, The customer service of some staff is appalling.

We went in today to talk about the diminishing battery performance on a three-year-old MacBook Air and was told Point Blank we needed to upgrade to a new MacBook Air or have the battery replaced at our own cost, As the device is now outside 24 warranty (The battery had been diminishing for the past 12 months)

The Genius Mark and the manager David were so unhelpful and basically ushered us out of the store. Absolutely appalling, I look forward to the demise of this horrible brand and the rise of a new entrant

I've been a very satisfied apple consumer for decades very disappointed on my last visit on 6 Jan afternoon on the genius bar there, not to mention they completely ignore the gap issue between screen and frame that has been reported broadly, one of senior technician or supervisor -Mark offers customer to go Fair Trading if we are not happy with Apple Product with no reason and no sympathy.one of the things that always kept me coming back to use apple product has been phenomenal customer support and the extreme product quality.i am so disappointed

Amazing place. Assistance is very useful than compared to any apple store in Sydney. I bought many items here without any issues and very smooth deals. Much recommended place.

Manager is rude, refuse to offer return service even it’s within 2 weeks. Had to go to online returning to get it picked up.

For the online order experience I would give you 5 stars, however that's not what I'm here for. I wanna give you feedback on my Store experience after purchasing a MacBook in your online store.
Sad you don't wanna hear about that anywhere, as there is nowhere i can leave feedback privatly on your website. You just wanna hear about your product, but not the people that make you what you are, your staff in the stores. That must have changed. As a result I have to use that platform here and most likely others so you get the message.

So here it is.
Booked myself in to an early Sunday morning pick up in store to beat the Sunday croud. Arriving at the store 10min earlier, I did ask a member of staff where to queue for online pick ups, obviously didn't wanna end up in the long queue for in store shopping experience. But I did.
While waiting for another member to book me in, I reconfirmed the purpose of my visit with another member of staff, however that didn't make any difference. Obviously the store opened up and the queue slowly started to move. Ceveral people looking at each other as no one looked after us (check in) as we slowly entered the store. After just standing around - surrounded by plenty of staff, don't get me wrong - I finally got picked up by someone who asked me what the purpose of my visit would be. Long story short, i got checked in finally and advised that i should have been waiting in another queue for online pick up, basically would have shortend the wait drastically on that Sunday morning.
Well done.

So I moved into this direction now waiting for my product to arrive.
Brought by another member of staff, calling my name. Asking to confirm an email that was displayed on her screen and handing me over my purchase and gone.
Sorry what just happend. Anyone, that I was surrounded by could have done that and receive that package instead of me.
With all your security and privacy features you are implementing, not an experience you expect.
Getting worse by talking to a manager/ supervisor in store who was more like, sorry we are busy, please get going, just not applogetic enough to acknowledge that the staff in store is overwhelmed, has no attention to details and no idea on customer experience and probably left alone by unexperienced Managment.
How can you get it so wrong. That used to be your strength.
Just not what it used to be.
And please give me the possibiliy to tell you privatly rather than on such platforms.

Store was closed when we arrived on Thursday night long before advertised closing hours, please update operating hours, staff in the store have been friendly when visiting on other occasions

Arrived 20 minutes late but was still allowed to get my support service. Was told I'd be put at the end of the queue but only waited about 10 minutes. Issue was resolved smoothly and wait times were minimal. Apple support at this store always resolves the issue. Much better than George Street store!

Apple Chatswood Chase way over-staffed with zero added benefit.

Arrived 5mins early for my pre-booked Genius Bar appointment and was told by Person A to have a browse and then check back in at the entrance by 10: 10am (my appointment time).

I went back to the entrance and Person A was not there anymore and I enquired Person B who seemed to have replaced her. Person B then told me to talk to Person C who was already assisting a customer - waited 5 minutes and wondered why I couldn’t speak to the other numerous Apple staff employed.

These other Apple staff, might I add, were so free to the point that they were having lovely chats in groups of 2 and 3. There was also a cowboy dancing alone. I don’t understand what kind of customer service this is or what kind of customer experience Apple is trying to sell.

I wasn’t able to speak with Person C in the end because Person D came by and suggested me to speak with Person B - which I told him I already had and explained him the situation. Afterwards, he told me to sit down and wait at one of the tables close to the Genius Bar.

After waiting a few minutes and looking around in awe of how free and useless this bunch of Apple staff are - I was then introduced to Person E. Finally this was the person that was going to help me with my AirPods.

My appointment which was booked for 10: 10am, started at 10: 15am. Didn’t finish until 10: 50am and for a good 20 minutes in between I was just left alone yet again to be inspired by the cowboy dancing and useless staff networking with eachother.

Overall glad my Apple issue was resolved but how I got there in the end was far from ideal and extremely below my expectations.

So get the whole clean space feeling of the shopping experience. All I wanted to do is go in pick a mackbook pro off the shelf and go pick up the kids from school. But you have to book in just to pick something that you already want. The shopping experience is 0 out of 5 stars. 5 out of 5 for friendly staff. So average 2.5 stars rounded up
