17A branch that can't help you with your ANZ credit card lol They said call ANZ, I told them Ive tried 3 times and been on hold for over 45min each time and have a job so I had to hang up.why cant you just help me? ! You are ANZ! Nope, they sent me away. ANZ would have to be the most useless bank in Australia
What an absolute joke of a branch. Why was I in the branch you ask, because after waiting 40 minutes on hold with ANZ contact center I thought a branch visit would be quick.
3 customers waited in the branch, 3 staff were in the North Sydney ANZ branch. 1 in her office talking to a customer on the phone, with her door open, talking about private customer information for everyone to hear. 2nd staff member is doing online training so he cant help anyone he says, 3rd says she is going to lunch so she walked out. All this conversation in front of the 3 customers waiting - we all look at each other and shake out heads. After waiting 20 minutes for the 1 ANZ staff member who is assisting the same customer I walked out. I have never seen such a joke of a bank. Sack them all!
Shivansh is kind, knowledgeable & patient. Was a great help to me twice. Hope he goes far in the organisation.
I've tried to see banker during lockdown period several time, but failed as the bank closed even though I've visited there during operating hours.

Went in about 2: 30pm. One teller was on duty. Not much of an idea. I had one customer in front of me. He didn’t know how to close an account. After trying for 10 mins he called his manager and seemed they had to go through the whole process he had started again. I walked out in disgust. Definitely taking my business banking away from ANZ. Crows Nest branch has been closed. You think they would make the North Sydney branch more efficient.
Went in at about 15: 30 so there was hardly any waiting. The person attending to me was helpful and friendly; overall a pleasant experience!

What a let down. My first interaction with an ANZ branch and they're already trying to shirk on their responsibilities. They won't even assist by following up with another department telling me it's not their problem.
I'll be changing to CBA as soon as possible.
Told that they can't do anything for an captured card made by their atm machine, doesnt even tried to investigate why or whatever to prevent being captured again.so i will never ever use their atm machine anymore.
I have applied for a credit card few days back and when I called them they are asking to provide last 2 years ATO Tax assessment working in same company. Working as a consultant for 5 years in Telstar, Optus and now in NBN and having already credit card with other bank - ANZ is asking this funny question to and in-fact they have cancelled my application. The worst bank I have ever deal with - who needs 3 working days to just open a Everyday Transaction account when CBA does it with 30 minutes. Look like I have close all the transactions with ANZ.
Excellent customer service from Sarah and the Team. In the last 12 months we have utilised the North Sydney Branch on several occasions and have always found the Team to be most helpful. Hopeless. Even after visiting 4 times to the branch and they were not able resolve an issue. Just waste of time.
Other reviews are pretty scathing so i guess it's down to who assists you here but customer service just now was excellent
Waited for 15 minutes while 2 tellers served no one pretending to be busy doing something who knows what.then they proceeded to tell me that without a PIN I could not withdraw from my accounts despite the fact I had my cards and ID in hand as well as my Internet banking codes and password! What the f.
A truly terrible experience. If you want to wait 40 minutes of you life in a flourescently lit room for something which could have been done over the phone, come here.
I did not get a chance to give rating in negative. What an amazing place to test some ones patience, waited for 30 min or so and got no help. Waited for my token number for 15 min then got desk who straight a way told me I can't help check with manager. Manager was busy (as per her). After 20 more minutes my test for patience was failed and I stepped out of the branch when it was confirmed that it might take 30-45 more min.
