26Be prepared if you want to be asked like a criminal only from accessing to your own money. The tellers and the senior manager laughed after I requesting cash, and they wanted every single detail of how I will use my cash. I think the ombudsman needs to review their policy, but also the staff needs to improve how they communicate with people. There is more people scammed from clicking links and online transactions. Maybe ANZ can invest more effort into this? Rather than wasting customers time (already huge effort waiting in a standing queue, and find a parking nearby) just because customers rushing into scams with cash? That's a bit too funny for me. As a customer being with ANZ bank for 18 years with various products, I may call a quit, and ask all my friends and relatives to quit. There is no further improvement except scrapping people's every single pity penny to create their wealth.
Wilford Zhang provided an excellent service. He is enthusiastic in his job as he took time to explain for me carefully. When I went back the second time to seek for assistance, he was keen to listen to my problems and suggested very useful solutions.
The staff were incredibly rude and condescending. They were more interested in picking up their coffee order than answering a few basic questions.

Front desk teller didn’t won’t to help me depositing my coins & waving her hand it’s like what do you want machine is broken & automatically referred me to go to Flemington branch!
The Bank manager is very professional & he should look into it
Worst service from a bank ever. Staff had no idea what was going on or how to answer simple questions. Had to wait 30 minutes to be told I can't see someone today and I need to make a booking for another time. Not impressed with the staff or the service. Luckily I'm changing banks.
Amie i think was the name of the front desk girl with "fake grey eye contact lenses " haha who was been rude and verbally abusing the Asian old lady let me tell you that after me getting involve to defend the lady and SCREAMING AT YOU FOR BEEN SO RUDE AND CARELESS I GUESS IS SOMETHING YOU WONT FORGET, i am happy you started to cry and all the drama you made, you got no right to be rude to any client specially to someone older. Closing all my account and taking my money to another bank.

Unprofessional. Lack of staff. Inpatient. Have to book for everything or have to wait for few hours. Such a big bank and only two people. Pls hire more professional staffs. Thanks
Peter Yi is amazing and very kind, however the lack of staff is really out of his hands. ANZ should try paying less for their executives and reallocate funding to branch staff. I see a shortage of staff in every ANZ branch.shame on the 'LEADERSHIP' team
I've had products from Westpac, CBA, Amex, HSBC, Latitude, and ANZ. ANZ by leaps and bounds takes the cake for worst customer service & just general difficulty in getting the most simple of things done - like paying a bill. Honestly, choose any other provider.
Slow service. Had to wait 30 min in-line nearly every single time, even all I need just a stamp for fast deposit which is normally we can do at the front counter and drop in the box.
Worst and Rude Staff! They do not pick up their phone 8935 0200, nor do they respond to their customer service officer's calls when we call 131314, to withdraw more than 5K they have no sense policy that you book it through customer care, and the branch will call you to pick up your cash, in my case I booked, but no one called from Branch when I rang Branch they don't pick phone, when visited in person, they say you visited without booking and refused cash.
2 tellers and one person helping with loans on a Friday at midday- ANZ- do more to help your staff, it's unfair of them to take on the line to the door by themselves.
I walked in to discuss my loan, was asked to make an appointment (was never the case prior), unsure if policy change but from what i can saw it looks like a staffing issue.
There is a female staff member with a bit of yellowish hair who speaks Cantonese and Chinese. Very bad attitude.
This happened twice with me! The ATM machines as well as the machine at the counter have major problems especially when trying to deposit coins and large amounts of notes…. The machine would literally just crash after the money is inserted! And you have to lodge complaint to get your money back! Even tho after lodging the complaint it’s not the actual amount that the machine has took! Even at the counter the machine which counts notes literally just jammed my notes inside! This bank has major issue! Now I’m seriously considering changing to other banks.

Were not helpful. Poor customer service. Was there for 2 hours and still couldn't resolve my problem. We're not interested at all in providing good customer service
The staff were very nice, especially Michael - who helped me to open an account and answered my questions. Professional and efficient. Appreciate.

As usual, I went to this bank to get change. The customer service was so unprofessional and so unfriendly and were very rude. When asked upon change, the on duty person spoke “we only serve ANZ customers” but what about all the time I went in the past and they happily gave change? And for general information this rule does not exist. But apparently they said this rule of serving only ANZ customers had always been there. When asked upon, the reason the member left and spoke to his fellow team member in his own language and starting giggling.
Really bad service and very unprofessionalism in service!
Poor customer service, don’t even try to help the clients. Every time just said: sorry, it is our policy and then turn away, while other branch is always help to solve the problems in the same situation. Late with money deposit as well. Worst ANZ in the ocean
